This has to be one of the most dishonest auto shops on planet earth.. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all cost.

Great Work ! 11/21/2011

I am usually very picky when selecting service providers, especially for potentially expensive services. I went to Bryant Transmission Center because there is another car (engine) shop that gets rave reviews on Yelp (straight 5 stars out of 33 reviews) and they routinely refer their own customers to Bryant Transmission Center. In a word, they are great, competent, friendly, and of the highest integrity. (OK, I know that's more than one word.) They performed for a free a thorough and honest diagnostic on my car; explained to me what they found; and what my options were without trying to sell me on their services. (They even provided recommendations for what to do if I decide not to have them repair my transmission, so as to prolong its life.) Very competent, upstanding, and great guys to deal with all around. more

Service Was Excellent & Professional 9/27/2011

Big D transmission actually surprised me with the level of service and knowledge of the technicians. They were very helpful & affordable when I brought in my car. They had my car finished & running like new at the time and day they said it would be complete. Thanks again for a worry free experience. more

Awesome Service 9/11/2011

I brought my F-150 to Big D Transmission and Auto service because the bands in the transmission were slipping between gears. They called me after they test drove it & explained how much it would be to take the tranny out & apart and diagnose what the problem was. Garrard then told me he would give me a $150 off Internet discount - which I thought was awesome. He called me back the next day & explain what was wrong and what needed to be replaced. ((Torque Converter, Planetary Set, all soft parts)). He gave me a breakdown of what was needed, the price & then the total out the door price. I Picked up my truck a couple of days later & was very happy with the price, service & work done. Awesome service & love how they call you with everything BEFORE going ahead & doing something instead of just working on your car & charging you money like many other mechanics. I will DEF recommend this Big D to anyone who needs transmission work . more

Big D Transmission repaired my Oldsmobile 88 Royale transmission and we were very satisfied with the work and the price. We have had zero problems with the repairs that they have done for us and we recommend them to one and all. more

Ripped Off 6/23/2011

Our '98 Jimmy stalled and locked up. Had it towed to the Firestone close to my house. They suspected it to be a transmission issue and bowed out of the repair at no charge. I called several transmission places and Rich at Big D seemed the most convincing with his free tow/analysis and $888.00 price. Slick salesman! After they analyzed the car, came up with nothing wrong with the transmission but the engine had locked up. They offered to put a low mileage replacement motor in for $1,850. I was stuck so I agreed $1,850 instead of $888. Rich called and said car was running great but the ball joints were grinding and needed to be replaced. Another $800. I was at their mercy now after sinking $1,850 into it. So I reluctantly (and stupidly agreed). Several days later, supposedly all was repaired. I live 60 miles away and had no convenient way to get there. Sent a tow truck to bring it home ($90 ). more

Good Price! 6/16/2011

Best price in town I checked all over town trying to find someone who would give me an honest answer and a good price. I was lucky enough to find Garrard! He saved me $600 off the price i was getting from everyone else and my car runs great. I would recommend this shop to anyone! more

Rearly do people come on Google reviews to do anything other than rant about some negative experience. However, in a highly competitive market, its easy to anonymously slander the other guy and have a significant impact on his business. I'm here to say that Gerrard at Big D Transmission is a very honest and has absolute integrity. I mentioned to him how easy it is to write fake reviews on google... but he does things the right way and refuses to engage in that kind of business strategy. I brought my Tacoma in for a Transmission service and they took good care of me. While I was in the waiting room, I watched and listened as he conducted business professionally. And believe me when I say I'd be the first person to write a bad review if someone did me wrong. And this is the fundamental problem with Google feedback reviews. Its not the same as Ebay where a system determines who is actually writing the review... its just anonymous people and possibly competitors. I'm a happy customer. And I highly recommend Big D. Give Garrard a call and see for yourself. You won't get this kind of service from any other transmission shop. more

I am glad I went !! My transmission was taking too long to go in gear so I started searching for a shop. I read several great reviews and one bad review and I almost didn't go to Big D Transmission. Well that review lied. Garrard saved me the cost of new transmission. more

Honest & Personable Service 6/3/2011

I had been quoted by two other places for transmission work that would cost me thousands of dollars. Thankfully I called Big D Transmission before going ahead with the work. I felt comfortable right from the start talking with Gerardo. He did a free check on the car (another transmission repair shop had charge me $110 to do the same test)and it turned out to be a much lesser problem. They did the repairs quickly and it cost less than half of what I would have spent if I had gone to one of the other two transmission shops. Big D could have easily just done the more expensive repair, but instead they were honest and fair. I would highly recommend them to anyone. They treat you as a friend that they want to see again. Great way to run a business! more

Great Work Place & Great Job! 6/2/2011

Thanks Guys......No more slipping!!! I went to the Big D Transmission after calling a few major transmission repair shops that wanted to charge me over $4000 to want repair the transmission on my BMW. These guys have the tools and knowledge to fix my transmission and didn't charge me an arm and a leg to fix it. If you don't trust your car to just anybody, take it to Big D and they will take care of you just like they did me! Thanks again. I appreciate all of your help and thank you Gerardo for telling me about all of your financing options and making this process super easy and thanks for the ride to work too. more

Great Job! 5/31/2011

The transmission went out on my son's 2000 Lexus while visiting friends in Dallas. I figured It would be fair game being from out of town. I had it towed to a shop and they told me that it needed a new transmission at $5,200. I called Big D Transmission (at random). They rebuild it for $3200.00 with a Lifetime Warranty. I am very pleased with the service and would recommend these guys. Thanks guys. more

Great Service and Affordable Prices 5/29/2011

Big D Transmission repaired my truck. These guys are phenomenal! I couldn't figure out what was wrong and the dealer would probably have charged me twice or even more of what these guys did! Gerardo is very cool and professional; I like the fact that they quickly diagnosed what was wrong with my truck. If you ever need your car repaired this is the place I'd recommend it! Really great shop and great Techs too! I am definitely going back for all my repairs! more

Fast Service, Fair Prices 5/28/2011

I was in town visiting family when my Toyota CR-V started having transmission problems and te dealership couldn't have it looked at for a few days, so I took it in to Big D (that's where my aunt recommended I go). They were able to take a look at it, turns out my transmission just needed a good flush and cleaning, which they did. more
