Great Service 9/17/2009

When I first moved to the area, I had a tire that went extremely low on the way home and pulled in there. They pulled the tire off and plugged it (I got a nail or something in it) and sent me on my way at no charge. Pros: Helpful Cons: Sometimes they are too busy more

you have to make it a great day if you want one 6/1/2008

Good day/bad day, good weather/bad weather, good food, maggot-infested kitchen.... After reading the previous review I felt compelled to share my experience. I found the staff extremely personable and helpful. The parking lot was full when I stopped by but I needn't ask where to park since there is plenty of roadside space for a quartermile before you get to the store. I don't know the 'cop shop' the previous customer mentions, therefore, I think he may be 'dissing the wrong store. We all have bad days, even bad hours, where we may be a little cranky. Though I am not sure what his position was in the chain of service, James seemed to be pretty in tune to things. He was quite helpful and took the time to explain things to my blonde spirit. No, I'm no beauty queen. He certainly wasn't being nice because I was female... I am 5 feet 4 inches and weigh close to 250 pounds due to recent surgery and disabilities that I am now overcoming. However, James took his time to give me a reasonable idea of good/bad tire choices for my Dodge Dakota truck. He spent about 25 minutes giving myself and my friend information so we could make the appropriate choice. I found the other people a little quiet but all in all I had a wonderful experience in this male-dominated world. I have been made to feel quite inadequate on several occasions in the past at other establishments - Auto Zone, Goodyear, etc. - but this was a very refreshing surprise. Makes me want to believe there are still a FEW male-dominated establishments that will give a female enough info and allow her to make choices that are best suited to her particular situation. more

worst hospitality 6/15/2007

Their parkin lot is not very accomidating. Iwent there on 6-15-07 to buy tires for my suburban. Dennis the general manager was directing where to park cars. told me to pull in the pigs parkin lot. it was full. so when i pulled back in to ask where to park. the general manager dennis. starts yellin and cussing me . telling me i told you to park down there. i tried to tell him theres no where to park, where do you want me to park? and he got even uglier. so then when i went to complain. he confronted me in the office where he procedded to then cuss me even more. all cause he was directing parkin but yet couldnt tell me where to park. the store people are great. But the general manager isnt. Very rude and nasty. dont recommend this store at all unless you like being cursed, cause they cant accomidate. Pros: prices Cons: general manager is rude and nasty to customers more
