Big Bob's GasLight Village

It was Saturday night at 5:30pm. We decided on Big Bob's pizza. We hadn't had their pizza in a long time and it sounded really good. My husband placed our order for delivery (even gave them our address). We expected it to take about an hour and we were okay with that. An hour went by, an hour and a half went by, an hour and forty-five minutes went by and still no pizza. My husband calls Big Bobs and after much searching they find our order. They thought it was a pick-up. Since when do they ask for your address when it is a pick up. Of course I don't want this cold pizza delivered at this point. My husband asked if he was going to be compensated in some way and the manager said they would give us the pizza and bread sticks for free if he came and picked it up. He went and got the pizza and they didn't do anything other then give him the cold pizza and bread sticks and warm ranch sauce. They did say that it was a new person on the phone. I am not a hard person to please but I was very disappointed with our service. We don't get a chance to splurge and although our pizza ended up being free I was anticipating a warm yummy pizza not a chewy pizza warmed up in the microwave. Hot and stringy mozerella cheese compliments the garlic butter perfectly. With a side of creamy ranch dressing they are absolutely divine. An aphrodisiac of sorts, these breadsticks surely could be the next viagra. more

This is the best pizza on the east side. Their new location hasn't changed their excellence, in fact, I actually like it better as a little cafe with a bar and a liquor license. I eat here regularly and every time we order pizza, it's between this place and Gino's. more
