Great for having that weekend hearty breakfast. They have a pretty extensive menu and everything is freshly prepared and absolutely yummy. I took my parents here when they visited us and even they liked the place. Neat and clean surroundings and a very warm and friendly staff make dining here a pure pleasure more

Amazing Variety 1/27/2006

Everything from Greek to Chinese to Thai to all American burgers. Of course they have ample portions of breakfast food, omelettes, pancakes, etc. The food quality is standard for local pancake houses, that is, pretty darn good and rather affordable. They've got a very good variety of bottled beer, too. Generous portions more

Huge portions at an affordable price 1/24/2006

Though Big Apple is tucked away in suburban Lisle, it is truly a gem of a pancake house. Serving from 6 am-4 pm, it features everything from overstuffed omlettes to delicious Greek specialties. The atmosphere is family-friendly, and the prices are more than reasonable considering the portions. Stop here if you're looking for a hearty breakfast or lunch-- you're sure to leave with a take-home bag. more
