Big Apple Dinner may be a bit out of the way but the food is worth the drive and the price is very low considering the quality and amount of food you receive. Some of my favorite things for dinner are the shrimp stuffed with a mild jalapeno cheese and the trout (broiled, baked, etc.). Lunch is usually a toss up between one of the various styles of delicious burgers, 100% beef here, or one of the salads. Be warned that the Cesar and chef salads are very large so only order if extremely hungry or you are a teenage "bottomless pit". Usual cost for a good dinner for two is less than $30 without dessert. We never have room for dessert, so stop by periodically just for those treats.
As someone has already noted, breakfast is good. Trout and eggs is a regular on their menu now and done very nicely.
Keep you eye open for alternatives as the parking lot fills up quickly and that means all the table are full. But if you can wait, it is certainly a great place for all. The kids will love the Shakes and Malts and a "Green River" is a nice change of pace.
