After a long night of wine with friends I woke up with a minor headache and hankerin' for a damn good sandwich. Read some reviews on NY Apple Deli and was convinced that this was the place to go. Went here with a good buddy of mine. First we appreciated all the amazing posters such as the periodic table of sandwiches, epic movie scenes poster, and several baseball stadium posters. Then we looked down at our placemats, and don't be fooled these puzzles are not for children. Been a while since I had a difficult puzzle place mat. Sign of a good meal to come. The place had a good staff as well. Our waitress explained to us what a knish was without sounding condescending. more

Go to a great neighborhood joint 11/4/2005

This place makes me feel like I live in a close knit neighborhood. Everyone goes here and The staff has worked here for years. My favorite is the BLT grilled Chicken sandwich adn I have eaten it every day for a month!!! The best chopped salads, bugers, homemade soups, I could go on! Try it! Pros: great food, great service, variety more
