I just received a call from Mike the owner of the business, after leaving a negative review last night. To sum up the negative review; no response having to call back and follow-up after not getting a call for two days, a three week wait time for service and higher service fee than others. Mike was very concerned and took the time to explain that I had requested service through Home Depot and they sometimes get back logged with calls and delay getting the info to him, I can see that. Mike explained that because he is the designated service company for Home Depot, he is stuck with their pricing when service is requested through Home Depot; his prices are lower. Mike also apologized for the extended wait for service and advised this was due to the first heat wave of the season and that his response times are usually quicker. Mike explained because of his level of service he has a times a long list of customers waiting but is always sensitive and concerned for each customer. I was impressed with his response and concern and would have been happy with his call back and personal attention; however, Mike went above and beyond by offering a free tune-up service for my AC system, including any needed referent (expensive stuff). This was even after he learned I had already had my system repaired by another company. Investing his company's time and money in some one who he had already lost their business, just to, in Mike's words, "Make Things Right"; shows what type of business Big Air Systems is. My first negative impression has changed to a POSITIVE one because of the way this business responds. Big Air Systems will be my first call the next time I need service more

We purchased an air conditioner from Big Air last week. We were very pleased with the whole process. Everything from the estimate from Mike to the install and times scheduled for the job went just as we were told. This is our first air conditioner and it was a complicated job. Sean, Hector and Juan were pros in getting our unit installed. They were easy to communicate with and Sean was very helpful in explaining the operation of the unit. Mike had installed our furnace ten years ago and we were pleased with the service then too. We had no need to call any other company when we knew Big Air service was what we wanted. more

I am writing this email on behalf of my husband, Jim Lawrence. Jim was here most of the day while the air duct work was going on. Jim wants to extend his appreciation for a job well done by Chris and his crew which included Hector, Rich, Erick and Matt. They were very efficient and took great care in keeping the surrounding areas clean. When I came home, I was personally amazed at the fact that they were done and leaving. I thought the project would last at least into a second day. They were done by mid afternoon on the 1st day! more

Big Air is great! They are affordable, trust worthy and do great work. Mike is super friendly, honest and helpful. Marcie in the office is friendly, helpful and responsive. Sean is the tech who has been to our home two or three times. He is polite, friendly, does excellent work, protects the floors, cleans up the work area afterward, etc. The only very minor complaint I've had is that I sometimes had to nag Mike a little to get answers to emails/voice mails I sent with questions. He is pretty busy, so sometimes a follow up call is required to get the information needed. No one is perfect though, especially when it comes to contractors working in your home. It's not a huge deal if I have to follow up a little bit when I'm working with people who are friendly, honest, affordable, do good work and have employees whom I trust to be in my home, whether or not I am present. Big Air is definitely my go to for any HVAC needs. more

Made an appointment and Mike came out a couple days later. He was early to the appt. He helped us understand our needs, provided recommendations, and seemed sincerely interested in taking care of my family. It almost felt like doing business with a family member. There was no pressure at all. He provided the quote and said he could complete next week if we decided to go with his company. I did my research as I always do and he stacked up very well. I called back and scheduled the installation. As promised, his team arrived, early again, and finished the install in less time than he said it would take. We were and are still very happy with our Trane system and the service BigAir provides. more

A very good experience!!. Bought a 4 ton Trane XR Series condensing unit and evaporator and could not be happier. Great product, good price and very professional installation. The work was thorough and the 3 installers were conscientious and neat. It was good to see skilled labor providing the installation. I would recommend to all. more

The Staff at Big Air are an amazing one... I had an issue with my parents who live in Brentwood, CA. that required urgent service... I tried 6 other A/C companies in Brentwood, and none of them neither answered their phones, or returned my messages... So I called the Home Depot hotline and talked to Laura, who was very pleasant, and listened to my story... Then told me their next open appt. was over a week out, so I told her thank you anyway and was about to hang up when she asked me for more info... Upon hearing my predicament, she put me on hold, and came back a couple minutes later... After consulting with I believe it was Mike the owner, proceeded to tell me they were going to send someone out to look at the A/C unit at my parents the next day... Needless to say their tech Sean was sent the next day, and my parents were taken care of... With all the busy schedules, and heatwave that was going on, this company showed me that, personal attention to the customer is still a priority in the company...This is a rarity nowadays, but at the same time nice to know we can still find it from people, and companies like this... So to you all at Big Air I tip my hat off to you! You have come through at a crucial time for me, and my parents... Oooh , and just an FYI to all you future customers of Big Air, this was all done from my home in San Jose, CA... So if you ever have any doubts about this company, don't because I will be using them for all my A/C, and Heating problems... They will also be performing yearly maintenance on my parents home from now on... Another thing that was funny is that these people were in Concord, and came to do the repair, when no one in Brentwood would even return my calls... They have my business for life... more

Around Thanks Giving of 2012 we had our furnace and coil replaced by Big Air and our first contact with the co. rep (Mike) was the reason we went with Big Air mind that we had lower estimates then them....Any way the job was completed very fast and very clean by Nick & Shawn two very pleasant technicians. Just this last week (May 2nd) when temps went up to 90* we had to use our AC and we noticed very loud and annoying noise coming from our furnace. Mike came trough for us again and in less then a week later we had our new blower/motor replaced by Nick x2 ...I would highly recommend the company to anybody looking for fast, courteous,efficient and reasonable service. more

He answered all my questions and provided objective consumer report information that made it clear and easy to see which products would suit our needs. The installation crew were professional, knowledgeable and left work areas clean. The owner, Mike, spent a portion of one of the three and a half work days making sure the project was going well. I have complete confidence in my Trane A/C, furnace and air cleaner. However, I returned to Big Air for new duct work, because my confidence is in the Big Air team. I am very satisfied with my my new attic duct work. The Big Air young men appeared at my front door, cordially introduced themselves and immediately went to work. They were all very polite and patient in answering any questions I had about the job. They took extra time to show me how to clean the filters in my whole house air cleaner.
