Best spot for a drink on Dupont Circle 8/22/2005

Our friends have been meeting at Biddy Mulligans after work for years. It is a very centrally located bar and easy to get to from many places around the city. It is located in the Jury's Hotel on Dupont Circle. There is a lot of space and still the tables can get filled up after work. It can get a little smoky. The used to have an outdoor patio which they converted to a more formal dining area, losing some of the best space. The beer is great and the pub food is decent. The best part is the panoramic view you have onto Dupont Circle, so you can watch people walking by and maybe spot friends to come in for a pint. more

Great Pub in a Hotel 8/15/2005

With at least six traditional Irish beers on tap and great Irish pub food, Biddy's is a great place to meet friends for an after-work drink when you want to sit and have a conversation at a nice bar with a relaxed atmosphere. Frequented by young and old professionals, Biddy's also has a great wall of windows that looks out over Dupont Circle, providing some of the best people-watching in the city. more
