Great Selection, good service 4/7/2009

Great selection of bikes for kids. The salesperson was helpful and we purchased a Trek bike for my 8yo daughter. If you're thinking about buying a bike from here, I would recommend that you check the model out online first. The floor displays were misleading b/c they didn't include the extras. Her bike included tassels, basket and kickstand. We asked the salesman if it included a kickstand he said no, but he'll throw one in (a $15 value). When we picked up the bike the extras were not on the bike. We had to return to the store to have them installed. When you're paying so much for a bike, you want the complete package. more

The Bicycle Planet located in Syosset, is a great place if you are looking to get into a physical hobby. They have a various gigantic selection of bikes. THey have trick bikes, mountain bikes, marathon bikes etc. they can perform services or repairs for a great price in a quick amount of time. they have a highly skilled technician at the store to do the repairs. they have sales and discounts on many of their products and are a great store to shop in. more

This store is a professional store with a large selection of every bicycle product you can imagine! All the bikes are of top quality, and are sure to last for many fun years to come. They also do prompt and effective repairs. If you need something as small as a bike lock or as big as a Gary Fisher mountain bike, you'll find it all at Bicycle Planet! more

They Have It All 8/10/2005

If you are a cycling enthusiast you should visit the Bicycle Planet. They carry a very large selection of bikes, clothes, and accessories that are sometimes hard to find. Where else can you buy an adult sized tricycle? There is also a service department and the store is staffed with people who's love for this sport is at least as great as yours. You can get advice about places to go and opinions on what gear is best for you more

Great price, nice staff 8/5/2005

Very good store for anything related to bikes. A great selection of bikes and accessories, with everything from parts to clothes available. Repair staff is very fast, and not overly expensive. The staff is extremely helpful in choosing the right bike for what you do, which always makes it a more pleasant experience. more

Great bikes and good service. Nice guys. 7/31/2005

The staff here are all nice. The guys in the repair shop are really nice and will fix or replace whatever is wrong with your bike usually same day but always fast and for a good price and with quality parts. They have all the great bike brands including trek, cannondale, specialized, giant, and gary fisher. They have a newly renovated store and sell all the bike supplies you could think of from helmets to gloves to shirt and shorts to lights and reflectors to hydration packs, all for great and reasonable prices. It is always fun to go there and browse for new accessories for you bike to make it better. more
