I'm no bike expert, and I was a little intimidated when I set out to fix a few things on my aging cruiser. Unluckily for me, the bike shops close to me didn't have any helpful reviews. Luckily for you, I was in an adventurous mood and just went to the Bicycle Mart anyway. I called ahead, and didn't have to wait long to be helped. The man I spoke with seemed to know the stock like the back of his hand and answered every request quickly, but kindly, so I didn't feel like an idiot--which is an important trait to me when I deal with experts on any subject. A few hours later I headed down and found this little shed of a bike stand hidden between car dealerships... A little diamond in the rough. The shop is a little crowded with stock and seemingly disorganised, but when I didn't find something the man working (possibly the owner?) walked into the back and produced it. The prices seemed reasonable, and the products were not the shoddy, fall apart variety that I've grown accustomed to, shopping at places like Target for bike accessories. When I went to pay for my tires and sundries he remembered our conversation on the phone and admitted that he priced my tires at 19, though they sell for 21 and gave them to me for 19 with a smile. I don't know the scope of what they have for people who like to really trick out their bikes, but for someone like me who just needs this and that without attitude, The Bicycle Mart was right up my alley.
