Bick's Driving School or Eastern Cincinnati offers a variety of courses for teens and adults. Review our classes below, the contact our driving school to register. Adult Remedial Driving Course: Class will be conducted for 8 hours with 2 breaks and a 30 min break for lunch. The break and lunch break do not count towards the 8 hours. You must participate and pass a written text with score of 75% to get a certificate. You man retake the test 2 other times; at that point, failure to pass requires retaking the entire class. The fee is collected on the day you take the class. Diver Licensed Is Suspended: For those who had their driver's license suspended because of too many points, OVI or FRA (no insurance), you need to take this course each time your driver's license is suspended. 2-Point Credit: For those that have 2 to 11 points against their driver's license, you must to take the course for a 2-point credit. If you take the 2-point credit class, the State of Ohio will suspend your license at 14 points instead of 12 points. This course for the 2-point credit can be taken up to 5 times in a lifetime, once every 3 years. The State of Ohio will recognize the 2-point credit for 2 years from the date you took the class. Out-of-State Ticket: For those who got a ticket in another state, we offer a defensive driving course to meet that state's requirement. Job or Insurance Requirements: Some companies might require you to take a defensive driving course for several employment or insurance reasons. Some insurance companies might request that you take a defensive driving course before they insure you. Class Days: Courses are held every other Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., excluding major holiday weekends. Appointments are required, and you must bring a photo ID and something with your driver's license number on it (such as a state ID or letter from the BMV).
