We have bought several smoker-pigs, ribs,briskets,brats, etc. for our huge 4th of July party every year and I just called them to talk about buying whole slaughtered hogs and a side of beef. The guy on the phone was INCREDIBLY informative, helpful, patient (I asked a lot of questions) and told me to come down there and he would take me into the cooler and show me how it is done. I am thinking about buying local, bulk meat for the health of my family and to support local business and agriculture. =) Only drawback, figuring out how to spend that much money at one time, even though it will even out over the year.
