Wonderful Italian Experience - DELICIOUS! 5/7/2005

The menu has excellent variety. Lovely combination of flavors and things you can't find everywhere. Great, knowledgable, friendly staff. All salads, entrees, and desserts were delicious, and lunch prices were a great bargain. Highly recommend, would go back again and again. Handled a large group extremely well. Absolutely wonderful. Pros: Variety of Dishes, Great Staff, Reasonable Prices more

Perfect Evening 8/30/2004

Dining at Biaggi's is a wonderful way to spend an evening. I dined there this weekend and already I am looking forward to my next visit! Try the Chicken Amelia, you won't be dissapointed! Our server Nick was extraordinary, he really went out of his way for us. I highly recommend him and the restaurant for high quality service and delectable authentic Italian food!! Pros: good service, private wine room, reasonably priced more

terrible 8/12/2004

Having given this restaurant a chance more than once to get it right they still don't. The food was terrible again, it tasted like fast food italian food. Its cheap but not worth the money. Service was terrible . The only thing worth mentioning is the atmosphere, its decorated nicely thats it. If this stays open much longer I will be shocked. more

Nothing Outstanding 7/12/2004

A nicely decorated, well executed chain restaurant. Service was average, the food portions were ample and the appetizers were quite good. The entrees were quite large, but my lasagne (slightly above average in taste) was not hot. Our tablecloth was dirty. The waitress totally forgot about us once the food was served. All-in-all, ""average"" sums it up quite well. Romano's Macaroni is a far superior chain, as is Carrabbas. Pros: Quantity of food, Ambience, Decorations Cons: , Quality of service more

Great italian food! 12/9/2003

Having recently returned from a trip to Italy, I've been craving *real* Italian food. This place offers it. There are a wide variety of unique items, not just the usual dishes. The pizza is authentic...i.e. it has very thin, crispy crust just like in Italy. Try the sherry tomato soup. There's never much of a wait, but just in case there's a classy bar area to kill the time. The food is great and reasonably price. There are also some pricier items if you want. You can really make the meal what you want whether it's a quick bite to eat or a lingering evening with friends. Also, try the lunch menu...some good budget friendly options! No need to make reservations, but they do accept them if you want. Pros: Good variety, Short wait, Great food more

Excellent Restaurant 11/30/2003

Great food, nice ambience, however, only average service. The first few times we ate at Biaggi's, we had excellent service. Since then, it seems they have gone downhill. Our frat-boy waiter kept forgetting to refill our bread tray and would come by once in a blue moon to check on us. Their service is not horrible by any means, but for an upscale place like Biaggi's I have much higher expectations in the waitstaff. Regardless, of my complaints, I would still highly recommend this place because the food is just too good! Pros: ambience, large portions Cons: waitstaff more

Absolutely Wonderful 8/8/2003

After my first time eating at Biaggi's, I quickly proclaimed it my favorite restaurant in the Triangle. Each time I return, that ""fact"" is reiterated. The food is wonderful (try the Spinach Salad, even if you don't like spinach!) and the portions are huge. My leftovers always get me through at least one more meal, if not two. The wait staff is wonderful and incredibly attentive. I have never had to wait for a table, a rarity in the Triangle. You can eat there cheaply or expensively, making it a great place for any occasion. Pros: marvelous wait staff, wonderful food, fits all budgets more

another chain Italian restaurant 5/29/2003

This place suffers from the plague of chain restaurants--the food seems like it was popped out of a frozen container and nuked for a few minutes. As an appetizer, we had the shrimp, lobster, and artichoke dip. The quality was that of TGIFriday's frozen appetizers. Our main courses were a pizza--which could have used more topping and been less crispy--and a portabella sandwich. The sandwich wasn't bad. However, for the price and quality of food, I'd choose Macaroni Grill anyday. Pros: nice ambience Cons: expensive for quality more

Nice New Restaurant 5/16/2003

Very nice new Italian restaurant. You *can* eat fairly inexpensively (although I think there were pricier items as well). Several items are available in half-size portions. It's not a dressy place, but you might feel more comfortable not going in shorts & sandals... Pros: Good food, Half-size portions, Nice atmosphere more
