A totally different take on Indian cuisine. The tapas and chaats are aboslutely fantastic and the parathas (layered flat bread) are the best you will find anywhere in town. The ...

Worst

If you are allergic to MSG do not eat here. The food is good but wht in the HELL do they use this cramp!! Cons: Uses MSG WHY????

Beware of the OverHype 12/29/2007

I happened to be there on a regular Tuesday night ( when the crowds are usually manageable). The service was really pathetic..Most of the tables were empty and I had to wait for around 5 minutes to get seated! After getting a table my order took almost 20 minutes to come up and it was regular Indian Thali ( an assorted Indian vegetables and meat dish which usually takes 5-10 minutes max in any other restaurant i have been, since it has been already prepared and just has to be served) Pros: food was ok..ambience was average. Cons: hot tempered servers..bad management. more

What if you go to a restaurant with your friend on a Tapas Night on a thursday and you happen to order a thali and your partner order tapas? Sounds Normal..Not to the owner of this restaurant! Pros: Good Food Cons: Owner does not trust Customers hence Absurd rule. Arrogant Owner. more

Bhojanic is the destination for Wednesday Night Jazz, Relaxed Atmosphere and Good Karma... If you are looking for your next regular spot look no further. They cater lunches for my business all the time. And never dissapoint.... Pros: Good People Music and Atmosphere Cons: Get there early.... more

Best Catering Experience and much much more!! 12/6/2007

Wow, you just cannot beat the mouth watering, affordable tasty Indian food at Bhojanic - me and my friends love the restaurant and I highly recommend buying gift certificates for friends and family as Xmas gifts - they will thank you for it! If you want to hold a dinner party at home or arrange a birthday party or any other occasion - Bhojanic can handle all your needs and requests. I love Archna - the high energy and friendly owner, she is professional and was very helpful with her suggestions for my party - her attention to detail is extraordinary! Her staff are friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure excellent customer service. I am an Indian from England and feel very much at home with food like this. You have got to go... oh and do try their signature 'Lychee Martini' - to die for..... :) more

Wonderful Indian food 10/2/2007

The food awesome and very flavorful. Went for lunch and received a good amount of food for the price. Highly recommended only problem was only one server working 10 tables but he did a great job considering. Pros: food Cons: parking lot more

I have no idea why someone would give this place a bad review. The food here is described as Indian tapas and basically it is Northern Indian food. It was described to me as also being alot of ""street"" food or food you would get from small carts or vendors in that region. They also have entree plates that looked awesome. Very, very different from the usual Southern vegetarian food that is all around Decatur. Here you have choices of meat and veggies. The family who owns this place is very nice with the parents doing some of the cooking and the adult kids running the front of the house. I went on a Wed. night and they had some live music that was great and not too loud. Great mix of people too!! You have some Indian families and some young people from Emory and your typical Decatur crowd. Pretty good service considering the place was full. I will be going back to this great little spot. Why so many good reviews? 6/28/2007

I didn't think this place was so great - not a very extensive menu (for an Indian restaurant). Average food and poor service. I tried this place when it first opened and thought that maybe they had such a limited menu/bad service because they were brand new (that was several years ago), but it's still the same. more

Tasty and great flavor 3/15/2007

I went with friends to check out the $12 all-you-can-tapas on Thursday nights. The selections are limited but still very good. One friend ordered the special and I tried some other tapas. The portions are larger than your average tapas size. My favorites were the Roti Canai, the Seekh Kebabs, & the Bhei Puri. The flavors were strong & spicy. For dessert we chose the saffron cardommon cheesecake - it was a little heavy for cheesecake and we couldn't really taste the spices. Service was ok but waitress needed more training. Felt rushed and kept wanting to take the plates away when we were clearly still eating. There were several empty tables around so we didn't understand the rush. Waitress also reached over the table a lot during our conversations w/o any apologies. The other servers were great though. We would definitely return and probably try the $2 tapas on Tuesday nights. Great indian food w/ jazz music! 1/23/2007

I went on a Friday night, and they had live jazz, which was very good. It wasn't too loud either. The food was great! I'm vegan, so they had a good amount of options for me. The nan bread is average tasting but still good. The service was excellent. Guava martini is a bit sweet - don't think they put enough alcohol in it. There is a parking lot in the shopping plaza the restaurant is at, but it was full when I got there, but eventually found someone who left. Overall, great experience! Delicious and fun! 10/21/2006

My husband and I went for the first time on Friday night. The restaurant was crowded but we were seated immediately. A great live band played a fusion of what seemed to be Indian and jazz music. The tapas are definitely the way to go, especially the roasted eggplant and corncakes. Our server was right-on with his shiraz recommendation, and the other staff was extremely friendly and helpful as well. We'll definitely return soon! Pros: Food, price more
