Established in 1924, Alhambra Sanatorium was a small private institution for nervous patients. Today, BHC Alhambra Hospital is a private, fully accredited, full-service acute psychiatric hospital serving children, adolescents and adults. BHC Alhambra Hospital is dedicated to providing quality behavioral health, substance abuse, and eating disorder treatment options for the communities of the San Gabriel Valley, Los Angeles County, and surrounding areas. BHC Alhambra Hospital does not provide emergency services.

Our acute-care facility offers comfort, confidentiality and cutting edge treatment programs for ages 4 through adult. Inpatient day treatment and evening outpatient programs are available. 24 hours a day and 7 days a week confidential assessments with a counselor by telephone are available at no cost. **Adult Psychiatric Services:** We offer a complete spectrum of acute psychiatric services including:
**Inpatient/Rapid Stabilization:** Patients stay overnight in a safe, stable, nurturing & therapeutic environment, treatment & structured activities are based on an individual's needs & goals.
**Partial Hospitalization/Outpatient programs:** Patients attend 5 days a wk, 6 hrs a day in extensive treatment; individual & in groups.
**Adolescent Psychiatric Services:** When the problems associated with adolescence become abnormal, uncontrollable or damaging, your teen may need professional help. We offer a complete spectrum of adolescent psychiatric services to young people 12-18 yrs of age.
**Children's Psychiatric Services:** Each child is an individual with a unique pattern of growth, personal thoughts & behavior. We take this uniqueness into consideration when providing a complete spectrum of age-specific services to children under the age of 12.
**Chemical Dependency Services:** The Right Path at BHC Alhambra Hospital offers a full spectrum of care including inpatient & outpatient detox, & evening intensive outpatient programs (CDIOP) for adults struggling with substance abuse/chemical dependency problems including dual diagnosis.
**Eating Disorders Inpatient and Outpatient Services:** Reasons Eating Disorder Center @ BHC Alhambra Hospital provides individualized & intensive eating disorder treatment in 4 programs: inpatient, partial hospitalization, & intensive outpatient for individuals ages 12 & older.
