As a jewelry designer with several years under my belt, I know my beads and Beyond Beads is right up there with General Bead when it comes to the best bead stores in SF. While General Bead is best for close-to-wholesale priced findings the largest selection of Czech glass anywhere, Beyond Beads has the best selection of semi-precious beads and pendants. The variety is great -- all manner of semi-precious stones, wood, bone, glass and more. I always go there for one thing to finish a project and leave about $80 later. The prices are great and the staff is knowlegable. Love it. more
