I recently had a cataract surgery done at Beverly Hills Vision by Dr. Khodabakhsh. He was so kind and initially made the whole experience free of stress and worry for me! I felt completely safe in the hands of Dr. Khodabakhsh and his staff, especially with the knowledge of his years of experience as a medical doctor/surgeon. I am so pleased with my new eyesight, and have absolutely no regrets about choosing Beverly Hills Vision to perform my surgery. more

I had my surgery done in December last year and I've never looked back. This is probably the best thing I've done and it's like a whole new world, I can make out shapes and see colors that I hardly even knew existed! I did a lot of research prior to my procedure: I read forum posts, reviews and newspaper articles and I found Dr. Khodabakhsh was the best so I decided to go to him. Everything I had read was true and I was treated with the outer most comfort and respect during the day of my surgery as well as during the post op service. I was very intimidated but after years of consideration I decided to go for it and get Lasik. Dr. K and his staff were amazing. He was very accommodating to the fact that I was very nervous and took his time answering all of my questions. But I also like that they use the latest technology. I have been seeing Dr. K for years and years and lately I have been considering Lasik. When I told him that he took his tome explaining and educating me on the procedure pros and cons. He answered all of my questions but never tried to convince me to do it or influence my decision in any way. After getting Lasik my vision is 20/20 but I will still come back to Dr. K for regular checkups. more

I am 57 years old, extremely farshighted and I had been wearing glasses for about 45 years. They literally became a part of my identity, and I hated them. I had 3 lasik consultations over the past three years but just could not pull the trigger. My nerves always got the best of me. Lasik really scared me. When I met with Dr. Khodabakhsh, He immediately looked at my glasses and maps that his technicians had taken and told me that I was not the best candidate for LASIK. He told me that if I do LASIK, there is a high chance that my vision will regress and I will not have a perfect result. He advised that I should consider a lens replacement surgery instead. I was quite shocked. Frankly, I did not believe him because three other doctors told me to do LASIK. I left his office that day confused and dismayed. I started doing heavy research online and on forums. I also called my cousin in Boston who is married to an eye surgeon. She agreed with him completely. As it turns out LASIK does not work on all people, especially those who are very farsighted. She knew Dr. Khodabakhsh and told me that she had been to a national meeting and heard him speak about this exact topic. It was then that I knew he was the right guy for me. It took me another six months to finally get the nerve to do the procedure. We scheduled the first eye on Friday and the second two weeks later. I was so happy with the first, that I asked him to do the second eye in one week. He did! Words will NEVER describe how well I see far and near without glasses. Getting lasik with Dr. Khodabakhsh was probably one of the best choices I?ve made. I spent months researching different doctors and centers. Over and over Dr. Khodabakhsh?s name came up. He not only a very skilled eye surgeon, he also has the best technology at his office. But what I was completely surprised by was his genuine care for his patients. When I had any questions I could get hold of him even on the weekend. He is definitely the best. more

After my initial consultation, I knew that I wanted Dr. K to do my cataract surgery. He was very professional, patient with all of my questions, and HONEST. He told me what to expect that I might need glasses with one kind of lens, and probably no glasses with other lenses. I really appreciated his honesty. The procedure itself was very fast and I could see 20/20 the next day!!! I am extremely happy with the results. I especially love that now I can buy sunglasses on a whim and don?t have to worry about getting the prescription lenses for them. more

I had laser surgery in 2008 to correct a cataract in my left eye. Recently it began forming in my right eye as well. Dr. Khodabakhsh is a great doctor who inspired my confidence and today I can see as well as I ever did, thanks to him. Cataract eye surgery is nothing like I thought. The operation did not hurt at all, it was relatively quick and I was able to see great the next day. I still have to do after care and I am using some eye drops as well, but I can already see clearly. The surgery was an excellent choice. more

At only 52, after noticing some narrowing in my field of vision in my left eye, my optometrist told me that I had developed a cataract. I was terrified, but he recommended laser eye surgery, which he said would be a good fit for my condition. After meeting with your staff, they assured me that they would be able to help me regain some of my lost field of vision. I think I have regained my entire field of vision, to a point that the cataract seems like only bad dream. As soon as I started to walk I got glasses, as soon as I learned about contacts I traded in the glasses for them, and as soon as I heard of Lasik I knew it would be my next step. Some of my friends asked for cars or computers for graduation, but I had been asking for Lasik since I was in middle school so my dad, knew exactly what I wanted more than anything. It was honestly the best give he?s ever given me and the ability to see the professor and the board from anywhere in the room is the best way I can think to set off for college.
