Beverly Beach State Park in Newport offers the luxury of a nice beach and forest setting. With the park and campsites tucked amongst the large evergreens, a short hike takes you to the beach and ocean. The campgrounds are usually quite full in the summer, but they do take reservations. With yurts, RV hookups and standard campsites available, there is something for everyone. A truly beautiful spot to spend a few days or even a week! more

Very family friendly! 8/21/2005

Beverly Beach is a great campground that is perfect for families. It is located right outside of Newport, and is so comfortable you could easily stay for a week. There are activities every day like movies and nature hikes as well as speakers. Kids definitely won’t get bored here. All the spaces are well kept and the bathroom and shower facilities are kept clean as well. Plus the showers are free to use. The beach access is a short walk, and the campground is convenient to many other local attractions and necessities. Check out the yurts too. more
