Bettencourt Refrigeration

After a string of 100+ degree days and a PG&E bill that looks like the National Debt, I figured there was a problem with my a/c unit. I asked a friend if he knew any good air conditioning companies; he recommended Bettencourt Refrigeration. I called late in the afternoon and left a message. Bruce (the owner) called me within 30 minutes and scheduled an appointment for first thing the very next day. He arrived on time, was knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. Bruce diagnosed the problem, clearly explained the two possible options and pricing to correct the problem. No pushy selling; just simple and straight forward. I like that. Bruce had to order a part that had to be shipped in and installed it the very next day. (That?s what I call SERVICE!) We?ve had many 100+ degree days since then; my a/c blows cold and my PG&E bill is back down where it belongs. Thank you, Bruce! We recenty had Bruce Bettencourt work on our refrigeration for our home and it was a disaster. After he supposely replace and repaired our refrigeration - we encountered problems. After several attempt in contacting him - throughout the year (through writing and calling) He never once returned our many calls and letter. We finally had to have another company repair all the work Bettencourt Refrigeration did not preform correctly. We had to pay another company over $500 to replace much of the work that the owner -Bruce Benttencourt personally did wrong. A word to the wise, I definitely would not reccommend this company to anyone. more
