I recommend buying tickets online (try Fandango) before going to Bethesda Row Cinema- we didn't and had to wait for a later showing of the movie we wanted to see. This was not terrible, since the theater is in downtown Bethesda and there are tons of restaurants, bars and coffee shops to keep you occupied.
The theater itself is nice. It was relatively clean and had stadium seating, which is a plus. We didn't buy food or drinks, but it looked like average fare. The movie selection is pretty good- many new releases are usually playing.
