We found the perfect apt in Prospect Heights 2/10/2012

My family's recent move from Manhattan to Propsect Heights was an overwhelming process, as we hadn't moved in over 15 yrs. After working with several brokers unsuccessfully, I finally met Liz at Betancourt assoc. Not only did she find us the perfect apt that fit all our criteria (and believe me that wasn't easy), but she worked overtime to negotiate a deal for us. I understand that real estate is a business, but Liz was still able to bring so much warmth and humor to the process while maintaining the highest degree of professionalism. I would recommend Liz and her team to anyone. more

I worked with Myrta Echevarria and the rest of the Betancourt team to sell my house in the South Slope and the overall experience was excellent and stress-free. An excellent resource in the complicated world of Brooklyn real estate! 2/9/2012

My family and I rented our Park Slope apartment through Betancourt & Associates Realty last year. Our realtor was honest, thorough and attentive. Found 2BR rental in Windsor Terrace through Betancourt 2/9/2012

My husband and I responded to a rental listed by Betancourt. Our Betancourt contact, Lizi Moses, was quick to respond to our inquiry and get us in to see the apartment. We liked the apartment and signed a lease three days later. She was very friendly and easy to work with. Although we were initially hesitant to use a realtor, due to the broker fees involved, the experience was a positive one and we were happy to find what we were looking for so quickly with Betancourt & Associates. I would recommend Betancourt and our contact there to friends in need of a realtor in Brooklyn. more

Tim Betancourt and Kristin Thorgersen went above and beyond. We left town in a hurry for a new opportunity and they helped coordinate the entire process including many unforeseeable problems like dealing with our insurance company, finding trust worthy contractors, dealing with our demanding management company, and finally finding us great tenants. They have a great knowledge of the neighborhood and a good feel for the pulse of the market. We definitely recommend Betancourt and look forward to working with them in the future. more

Excellent 2/8/2012

Myrta Echevarria made the whole process of buying a house so easy - a stark contrast to the experience we had with our first property purchase 7 years ago that was a complete nightmare. We always felt that she had our best interests at heart and managed to stay calm and assuring during some indecisiveness on the seller's part. She also managed to sell our apartment for asking price within one hour of an open house which happened days after we met her. We will continue to recommend Myrta to all of our friends who are considering buying in Brooklyn. more

Betancourt & Associates Realty sold my house in a very slow market. They were very careful about pursuing bids that were not advantageous for me. He almost got me the asking price that was listed. I never felt pressured to accept or pursue and offer. They were very good about listening to what I was feeling, and at the same time informing me about the details of the situation. I thought they were great. more
