I was Robbed in my room late Fri. night, early Sat AM (4/23/16) as I slept!!! $1000+++ worth of clothing, watch, phone, sunglasses, and\r cash!!! Upon running into the hotel lobby, still in Shock stating ""we need to call the police because I have been robbed!"" , the front desk clerk and security guard on duty, simply stared at me and said ""there is a phone right here"", pointing around the corner - ZERO empathy, shock, surprise. . Nothing. When I asked, desk clerk, ""Kyle"", if there are surveillance cameras on the floors, his response, was, ""I don't know""; of course, my antenna went Way up! as I found nearly impossible to believe that any hotel employee would not know if they had surveillance cameras at the property. After the Roseville P.D. took the report and I returned to my room, I discovered other items missing that I had originally over-looked, so, I went back to lobby to use the phone and happened to view the hotels Red Book open with notes indicating that my room had been robbed and I had given him (Kyle) a ""bad attitude"" and had been ""suggesting that he had something to do with it"". When I confronted him with this, stating the obvious - that I am extremely distraught, have just been Robbed in my Room, as I Slept, and he ""didn't Know"" if they had cameras, he stated, point blank, ""That is NO Concern of mine"", ""you have been ""nasty"" with me the entire time"". . . Needless to say, I was dumfounded, shocked, and horrified, that Anyone would even Consider saying such a thing, I repeated back to him, 'Oh, so, that I have been robbed in My Room, As I Slept!, is of ""No Concern to You?!"", he responded ""that's right, that is NO Concern of Mine!"" I returned to my room, spending the rest of the AM on the phone with Verizon and racing to change all passwords (thief had phone). By 11am when I contacted front desk requesting a late check out, as I needed more time to gather myself, and my remaining belongs to check out, I was offered until 12:30 (12pm regular),????????because they have people ????????waiting for the room via Yolanda, conveyed to me by the new in training desk clerk. These people are Absolutely Disgusting!\r \r Thief has since used my credit card to purchase a domain name for a porn website, has been arrested and advised the police that someone that was ????????????????????????????????""staying at the hotel"" provided him the credit card info. (Card itself was Not taken from my bag, however it Was the card on file with hotel). Some of my belongings were recovered, however Still missing an entire bag full of clothing (1K++ value). Between being told straight to my face that my victimization (a female staying alone - Luckily I was not physically harmed) is of No Concern to the employees, the thief indicating that he was provided my credit card info. from some unidentifiable person, that is staying at the hotel, and the housekeepers, who Blatantly disregarded the Do Not Disturb sign on my door during my 7 night stay, I have more than sufficient, rational, reason to suspect that the employees of the hotel may potentially be involved somehow.\r \r Hotel offered Zero condolence, and, the General Manager actually had the audacity to call me a liar!!! Stating that I was not even alone in the room. This was after numerous voice mails, emails, and contact from the Police Department. When I forwarded her a ""cc"" of the police report verifying that thief had since been arrested for Identity theft after using my credit card to purchase a Porn Site Domain name, she had nothing further to say! I have received absolutely no consideration from Best Western Orchid Plus or their corporate office who redirected me back to the ""Independently Owned and Operated property"" at which I was a guest. Absolutely disgusting in every way. more

I was woken up at 3:30AM to find someone knocking at my door. When I looked through the peep hole it was my husband. We are in the middle of a divorce and I didn't open the door but that didn't stop him he was offered a key card to my room by the front desk. He said he didn't even have to ask for it She Amber offered it. So not only was he able to get into my room but she also told him what room number I was staying in. Hello is there anything in that brain of yours Amber, it was 3:30AM didn't you think anything was wrong. As if I wanted him to know where I was don't you think he would have known and not have to ask you. She saw that he had the same last name(very common last name) and same address. And apparently that is sufficient enough to get a key card to someones room. He refused to leave and finally I got him to leave around 5Am. Thanks Amber!! I could have been killed or hurt. YOU HAD NO LEGAL RIGHT TO DO THAT AND YOU WILL PAY!!! more

We stayed here over night 2 nights and really enjoyed it. The accomodations were above what I expected and a special treat was the buffet breakfast in the morning. At night they have a bar with some late night snack type foods. I'd stay here again for sure! more
