Best Western

Never again! we were driving from cape coral fl to chicago, when we decieded to take a break and sleep for a few hours. checked into the best western in monteagle tn. lady behind counter was excellent. room was the worst we ever stayed in. lights didnt work, room smelled, bed was held by 2x4's, shower poured out brown water for about 5 minutes. more

We were taveling on our way home to Iowa and wanted some BBQ before we got home. We found this place on our Garmin and decided to give it a shot. BIG MISTAKE. We walked past the old and dried out food on the buffet and we should have walked out then and there. My food came out cold and the meat was dry and tough. I told the waitress and she took the cost of the meal off the bill but charged me 6.95 for a freaking gross salad off the salad bar. My mom ordered the soup and the rolls that came with it could have held a brick down. I was not happy at all. My baked potatoe was cold and the butter on it wouldnt even melt. We got a cup of mashed potatoes for our 4 month old and he just spit them out with a sour look on his face. BAD FOOD, Rude Wait staff and I will NEVER, EVER go there again. We will also make sure no one else wastes their money either. What a joke. They need to come to IOWA and see what customer service and how to serve food to people. What a joke. more

we arrived 10 pm on july 17 th after 13 hrs on the road from Ft Myers , Fl on the way home to St. louis, Mo area "Ofallon" we were greated by "very friendly" people & a "very friendly coon hound". rooms very clean and reasonable. As for the hound, he turned out to be a stray, we brought him home ! His new name is Ollie ! We will return !! dave & sue votaw more

My husband and I arrived at 1:30 p.m. cst at the restaurant on Firday, July 27th. We looked at the menus and decided to go with the food bar. I fixed a salad that was totally out of everything....no tomatoes and cucmbers and etc. The food on the bar was totally disgusting. The macaronni was so hard I had to knock it off the spoon. My husband had to put bean juice on his mashed potatoes to make them soft enough to eat. There were two small pieces of catfish left on the server. All the other vegetables had been there all afternoon. I could not believe that banana pudding was an extra fee. The cornbread was served separately and it was cold and hard. The only good thing was our server. She was cheerful and friendly. This was our second trip to the restaurant. The first time was a bad experience also. I guess you never learn. When we pay $40.00 for a buffet meal it should really be worth it. We will not be back to eat there. This is a not a star rating. Your restaurant does not deserve one. more

This place is really not that great. The food is just so so. Last time I ate there I wasn't impressed at all. The Gift shop has some pretty cute stuff. The rooms are clean and tidy. more
