My wife and I stop at Gila Bend for gas and food when we take trips to Phoenix and beyond. On these trips we always pass the Space Age Lodge, and say ""Someday we should stay there."" We planned a trip to Phoenix to include a nite a the Lodge. We are very glad we did. The rooms were nicely decorated. Cheryl the night desk person was friendly and helpful. We liked it so much that we have now stayed there several more times. We have always been satisfied.
Pros: Great service , friendly helpful staff, nicely decorated rooms, very clean, comfy beds plentiful towels
Cons: the hot water in shower didn't last long. This is always a problem for me in motels of same price range.
