Americas Best Value Inn is not far from old town Eureka where you can find many kinds of shops and resturants. And a nice walkboard. And the price is very reasonable.

I can't say more besides go see for yourself!!! 10/21/2010

I personally visited America's Best Value Inn at 822 W. Rt. 66 in Flagstaff, Az and Sam the manager was very nice. He gave me a tour of the newly renovated/newly painted rooms there by my request. I wanted to help. (I had previously read very negative reviews about this particular motel and warned him of this shown on the internet.) He was very aware of them. Since those reviews this motel is NOW UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT (Sam's). I saw brilliant turquoise, white and sunset orange walls in this simple, desert style, "roomy" room. It had a large countertop and sink area to the rear which was connected to a moderately large bathroom with another sink, toilet and full size tub/shower. It was very clean with brand new carpeting and a comfortably firm king size bed. The indoor heated kidney shaped pool was yet to open in 2 weeks. (The roof was finishing up repairs from damage suffered during a snowstorm the previous winter.) The view out the back was of the Ponderosa pines on small mountainside. I came to stay at this inn hoping the pool repairs were finished, but since it wasn't, Sam good-naturedly directed me to Motel 6 (with an outdoor pool) which was also reasonably priced for a Thursday and Friday night. Also it was nearby Pulliam Field Airport. *** Please give this "Best Value" the chance it needs. Sam's been working hard, doing a fine job there. Good spot to stay for a good price! *** He also sent me across the street to the original 50's style Galaxy Diner complete with reasonably priced meals (good!) including old fashioned ice cream sodas and an original rainbow jukebox with all the hits from 50's & 60's to play! VERY NOSTALGIC. Clean and refurbished on the inside. Don't let the weather beaten outside of it scare you away nor the broken clocks out there. (Remember the movie "Back to the Future" 's broken clock?) Step into the past inside. Great service/friendly staff/great T-shirts to buy to remember ol' Rt. 66 hwy.'s by-gone days! "God Bless! ...and all His Best to you & yours, Sam!" more

We had a great time 10/13/2010

This hotel is centrally located and convenient to everything in Flagstaff. The room was clean, and there was a mini-refrigerator and a microwave in the room. Check in was problem-free, and the staff was friendly. This is not a five star resort, but it is definitely a good deal for the money. We will stay here again. more

Newly Renovated Rooms 10/8/2010

At the outset, the rooms seem to have been renovated. They were spacious and the geography was enchanting. The hotel staff were cooperative and courteous. Hospitality and cleaniliness were at par and the stay was satisfying. more

Friendly personnel 10/7/2010

Because of late arrival and early departure we did not stay long, but accommodations were quite satisfactory and personnel were friendly more

THANK YOU AMERICA'S BEST VALUE INN 9/23/2010

Traveling through flagstaff and found this inn, great location, good rooms and good for the money! Thanks! more

Good Room 9/20/2010

We separated a non-smoking room with two beds. The location is good. Is right in Route 66, so it was very easy to found it. The place look like you enter to another dimension, getting you to 30 years back. I went to the front desk and the boy, that is attending told me that my reservation didn't tell non-smoking room, and they called to Orbitz and they told them to give us the smoking room, it was a discussion but because I didn't have in that moment the copy of my reservation I decided to came to the room, but finally he gave me the non-smoking room. more

Passed the cleanliness test 9/16/2010

My 21 yr old daughter and I just spent 5 nights here over the Labor Day wkd. I had booked online knowing full well reviews were split between 'appreciative' and 'disgusted'. Life has taught me that you usually get what you pay for. I didn't expect THE RITZ for $50/night!?!?! The room was indeed small and smelled like it needed a good airing when we arrived. I immediately checked for cleanliness and it passed the test. Bedding and bathroom were impeccable. King-sized bed was surprisingly comfortable too. Room roughly 10x12ft was admittedly a little snug. I had read there would be no amenities so we brought our own. Turns out they have dispensers with Conditioning shampoo, body gel, liquid soap and lotion 'Natura' brand. Room also had a mini-refrigerator and a microwave. So those unhappy with the modest continental breakfast could easily pick up a couple things at the food store and make due. Otherwise, Galaxy diner across the Rte 66 makes very decent breakfast. Still, if you are looking just for a place to crash after a long day of sightseeing, using it merely as a homebase between the Grand Canyon and Sedona like we did, it more than fits the bill for the price we paid. Oh! And we weren't bothered by the trains at all. We were SO tired by the time we hit the sack, it didn't matter. more

Great Location, Good Rooms and Good For The Money 9/13/2010

Traveling through flagstaff and found this inn, great location, good rooms and good for the money! Thanks! more

Great Location 8/26/2010

The location is great (right on the RT 66, near the university, and "close enough" to down town"). Once we got in the room, I appreciated the call from the front desk making sure we were satisfied with it. The staff is helpful and made great recommendations for hikes in the area. I've stayed here before and can tell there's a new coat of paint on the walls! Also, the train and RT 66 is near by, but neither kept me up at night. more

Great prices 8/24/2010

Great prices would stay here again! more

Comfortable 8/20/2010

As you would expect for the money, rooms basic and not very large, but they were clean and comfortable so no complaints. more

well done staff 8/17/2010

Booked this in January 2007 via Lastminute.com and paid for the 2 rooms in advance. When we arrived at the hotel, they pointed out there had been a change of ownership and didnt have my booking. However they did honour the booking and we got our 2 rooms, so well done the staff on duty! more
