Lilly, my large rambunctious German Shepherd puppy has been staying there since I first got her. She specially likes Doggy Day Camp where she gets to go and play outside with her friends - a group of selected compatible dogs that are well supervised. The ""camp dogs"" are kept close together in their kennels, and they all get to know each other. To help us through the transition period from a rescue dog to my home, we have been working with Heidi, one of their trainers, on an individual basis. She's been coming to our home - with great results!
They have boarding, day care, grooming, give medicine and all the rest, but the best thing is the staff. They work with the pet and owner's individual needs, and treat each of the dogs - and the parents - as a part of their family. They send emails regularly with photos of the dogs at play saying ""wish you were here!"" And they even have special ""parties"" on holidays with photos, gift bags, special food (if allowed), etc. I just can't say enough good about them, and I'm so very glad we found them. I just can't imagine anything more I would be looking for in a place for my dog to stay - whether its while I'm working, out of town, or just wanting to give her a day to play when I'm busy. And now Lilly gets all excited when we drive up to Best Friends. And they are that indeed. Billie H.
Pros: They are like family
Cons: haven't found any yet
