I seem to keep going back to Best Buy over the years and it is always the same thing. They don't have the items in their ads. I always am told it will be in on the next truck. When I go back in a week they still don't have it and I get that excuse again. They do not offer a rain check. I've given up on the items in their ad for the week. Then I went in for information on cordless phones. I had to stand and wait for the employee in that area to get done talking to a friend, not another customer. Then he couldn't really answer my questions so I went some where else and got my phone. The only department that really seems to know their stuff is the computer department. Those guys and gals do know what they are doing and have been helpful which is a good thing because I'm not very computer savvy. I don't think that shopping at Best Buy is the best buy. more

Best Buy at Coralridge Mall......home of the "Geek Squad" 3/23/2006

Now I usually refrain from using words like "geek", "nerd", "brain-i-ac" (that one is my son's favorite) and such but when I talk about BEST BUY and the best parts of this store I HAVE to mention the "geek squad"....they are great! Not only have they helped me to figure out my new phone but they have advised me on MP3 players, PDA's and computer "innards" (OK, I don't know the real word for it but they helped! LOL) So when I tell you that this is one of the best stores around with good customer service and friendly employees I'm not kidding...they are! The next time you pass through on I-80 (it goes right past the mall and you might as well stop!) check out the BEST BUY...I promise you won't be sorry...and bring that phone you just bought with you...they can figure out how to change your ringtones too...always a positive when you have a teenager like me who likes to torment Mom by changing settings she can't figure out herself! Happy shopping! more
