Best Buy

They never answer the phone, If Geek Squad can't fix you issue they replace the item and if its not in stock there basically like "oh well.." I regret shopping there. like i said NO ONE ANSWERS THE DANM PHONE IM CALLING RIGHT NOW.... The manager has time to go on twitter but not answer the phone.. more

i will never buy a major appliance or electronic at best buy again. There service is the worst and they NEVER answer the telephone. more

Best Buy is a big box consumer electronics store. They do get great prices when something is in stock but getting in store help is tough. Also they are always pushing their extended warranty on you at often outrageous prices. The real kicker for me though is their restocking fees. You buy a product get it home and find out it is not anywhere near as good as you thought. You bring it back and you can pay up to 15% restocking fees. I miss the local retailer who knew his business and had the time to help you make a purchase. more

I may be biased, because I used to work there, but this Best Buy is actually a great place for electronics. The people there are very knowledgeable, though they may be hard to reach (then again, they are always not scheduling enough people to work there). The Geek Squad Guys can pretty much fix your computer problems, as long as you are willing to wait a few days for them to take it apart. The lines can be long, yet the service (when you do find a blue shirt) is top-of-the-line. Their return policy is fairly flexible (30 days, money back with receipt, otherwise, exchange for store credit). They have a great selection of movies, music, tvs, computers, cellphones, car stereo and home appliances. Management can be hard to find, but if you complain enough, most of them will give you a certain percent off your purchase. There is a great sense of energy and there's always specials abound (just check the week's flyer). And if you don't find what you are looking for at Best Buy, there's always Circuit City down the road... more
