Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon to purchase a Flip HD digital camcorder. Had done my homework and all I needed was for an sales person to get me a unit and ring me up.\r
\r
I waited around for 15 minutes for help before I went up to three (no joke, THREE) different employees. The first (Brendon) was flirting with another male customer and the 2 others I asked for help stated they didnt work in that department, even though the blond guy with shoulder length hair was IN that department leaning on a display.\r
\r
20 minutes or so after walking in and just waiting for help, I left the store without the camera.\r
\r
The door guy asks me ""did you find everything you need today?"" So I tell him what happened and he just says ""have a nice day"". Not ""let me get someone to help you"" or ""let me get the manager"".\r
\r
I dont get it, the store want even that busy and Ive never had any problems at any other of their stores. I wasnt rude or pushy. I think waiting 15 minutes and asking 3 people for help was more than ""enough"". These people are usually up your ass the minute you walk into the store and today they could care less I was there.\r
\r
Im sure a million people walk in to that store yearly and have no problems, but I DID!!!\r
\r
And because of that, I think Ill just take my business elsewhere.\r
\r
I went to Walmart (next door... BETTER PRICES PEOPLE!!!) but they didnt have the unit I wanted so I ordered it from Amazon instead. Should be here in a few days and no LAZY EMPLOYEES!\r
\r
Its very hard to drive a customer who has WHAT he wants to buy in one hand and PAYMENT in the other hand, out the door. Congratulations, Best Buy.. you lost a customer.\r
\r
And in THIS economy, every customer counts!
Pros: Its got a parking lot?????
Cons: Could get anyone to help me.
