I have had 2 different vehicles broken into while parked in front of the doors at this Best Buy Location. Both times I filed a complete police report and reported to the stores manager what had happened. During my conversation with the manager I was told that it wasn't his problem and that he not be willing what so ever to even mull over the idea of putting some sort of security on the outside of the door. As I have talked to others about these two experiences I have been told by more than half of the people that I've talked to that either they themselves or someone that they knew had the exact same experience that I did and got the same response from the stores manager.
I dont want you to think that im an idiot by any means so I want to include the fact that both times that my car was broken into was over a 2 year period and that each time it was a different car that was broken into. I made certain to lock the doors as I always do, and set the alarm as soon as I left the vehicle. The first time that my car was broken into it was waiting to be worked on by the installation bay and my car audio was stolen by and employee, and the second time someone jammed a screwdriver into my passenger door lock in the middle of the day in broad day light. Both times my car was left unattended for literally no longer then 15 minutes before it was broken into.
For the fact that the company claims to be there to make its customers happy it sure doesn't seem that they live up to that standard or come anywhere close to it by any standard.
Pros: Great selection for those who can afford to have their vehicles broken into while shopping
Cons: Terrible customer care when it comes to invasion of private property while shopping at their store and parked in their parking lot
