Best Buy does not stand behind their products in my opinion. They are very anxious to sell you the warranty along with the product, but if you have a problem... you are outta luc...

Bad Customer Service 9/23/2011

We were looking for a new fridge (we're new to the area), and were minding our own business walking in the appliance section, when one of the sales guys came over and announced this was "his section" and nothing gets by him--with a stern look on his face. After that experience, we went across town to Lowes and bought a fridge there instead. And the friendly sales guy at Lowes offered us a discount without us even asking for one. We're not planning on going back to Best Buy after that experience. My advice to you would be to go somewhere else too! more

Beware!!!! I took a hard drive in for recovery, after it crashed. I was originally told it could be recovered at the store (for $159), then after two weeks of waiting got "the call" it would have to be sent out the bill would be $500. Well after I got it back, the bill climbed to $720. The new portable drive came back with tons of program files I didn't want and alittle of what I had paid for. Some friends were over a few days later (one of which was a programmer) and he started tinkering with it. With a tiny set of screw drivers and a little knowledge, he reinstalled the hard drive and it has worked perfectly for nearly two months. Pretty good for a trashed hard drive. This is theft!!! I would never do business with these folks! more

What warranty? 9/7/2005

Best Buy does not stand behind their products in my opinion. They are very anxious to sell you the warranty along with the product, but if you have a problem... you are outta luck as far as it goes with them. more

Best Buy has a lot of parking and the layout of the store is very well organized. They have a wide selection of items. The staff is usually willing to help. It is very well lit. The prices are not always the best deal in town, though. more
