Best Buy Appliances on North State street = If your fixing a machine and getting a part from here. Sure... If he is coming to your house to fix an appliance maybe.. Taking your appliance there to fix it... NO WAY.. STAY AWAY. I've had a nightmare 4 month story that you would want to avoid at all cost. Long story short he still has my appliance, he has $100 of my money, he has a million excuses and never makes any effort to communicate with me let alone fix or resolve the issue. more

They support Do-It-Yourself people who just need the part and some basic how-to advice. The owner remembers his customers and has helped us on many occasions. Great Service 5/7/2010

Had a part on my washer break and they were super nice and helpful and I fixed it for only 10 bucks! I took my kids in with me and they were really sweet to them and gave them a treat - the owner even helped me walk them back to the car since it's on a busy stretch of State Street. A pleasure to do business with! Pros: helpful, friendly, local, reasonable prices Cons: none! more

Great Big Store With Good Variety 9/22/2005

Best Buy advertises great priced, by default through their name at least. But...though their variety is very extensive, and their store large with attentive sales associates, their prices are outdone by Walmart. We went to Best Buy, and the staff was helpful and informative, but realized that we had seen the same product we needed at Walmart, for a substantially lower price, enough to spend the extra time to go to Walmart instead. The price was better, even with Best Buys rebate offer. But, if you don't mind paying a few more dollars, or if the product isn't available at Walmart....Best Buy is your "Best Buy" PROS: Large extensive store and inventory. CONS: Not always the "Best Buy". more
