Striving for mediocrity, Bertucci's seems to be close to achieving it. My first visit, I was seated immediately, and ignored for 45 minutes. My second visit was an improvement. I was promptly seated, within ten minutes, my drink order was taken. The server came back about 12 minutes later and offered to take my food order. I asked which of two dishes she would reccomend, to which she responded, ""It's all good."" 8 minutes later, I received my salad, followed by the entree and the bill about 17 minutes later. Drink refills were slow, average empty time was about 4 minutes. Appetizers, dessert, cordials and wine were not suggested nor offered, in spite of the fact that I was looking at the wine list when she took my drink order. All in all, a weekday lunch for one person on a low volume day took a little over an hour.
