Dr. Bradley Bertram was a founding member of the Eye Guys in 1999 after being in private practice in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Bertram received his Bachelor's Degree at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois and obtained a Medical Doctorate at Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois where he was awarded the Herrick Fellowship in Research and also received the Sir William Osler Award in Research. He was named Outstanding Intern during his Internship at West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, Illinois. Dr. Bertram completed an Ophthalmology Residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. After residency he received an additional year of subspecialty training by completing a Cornea, Refractive Surgery and External Disease Fellowship at Emory University. Dr. Bertram has been practicing Ophthalmology since 1990. He is Board Certified in Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Bertram is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology, the Medical Association of Georgia and University Physicians Associates. He was elected by his peers for inclusion in Best Doctors in America® from 2005 to 2016. Dr. Bertram is certified in the latest cataract and refractive surgery technology including Lensx laser cataract surgery and all laser LASIK with the Wavelight Refractive Suite with Wavenet technology.
