This a very beautiful and fantastic place.. one must definitely visit and check the services the spa offers... Our experience was when we conducted 2 Day Meditation event end of June at the place, every one who participated loved the place and it was very apt for doing meditations also... Everyone who is working at the place are very cordial, always in great spirits and wonderful people... Meditations was a bug success ...Streams of water, pond with colored fish made the place look very appealing... I strongly recommend people to experience... more

Was in Encinitas for a weeklong vacation, and as a busy mom who hardly ever gets salon time, I was looking for just the right place. This was it. Chezney the massage therapist was wonderful. I like a strong massage but oftentimes when I ask for that, it's not strong enough, or so firm that I'm wincing the entire time. Chezney has strong hands but a sweet vibe - just the right pressure. And I got a great Island pedi from Java, too! I've not been happy with the pedis I get in NYC. This one was great - thorough and unhurried. Very good polish job, and after 2 days at the beach, still looks fresh. Some of the other reviews complained about being too near the train tracks. I could hear the whistles and rumbling every now and then during my 2 hours there, but the noises were very muted, and frankly I liked the wild wild West feel of it. If we ever go back to Encinitas, I would def come to Bergamot again. more

Bergamot is beyond the best spa I've ever experienced. Not only did I enjoy my wedding day makeover but i actually held my small wedding in the back gazebo overlooking the koy pond. beyond amazing. this place is a must see. Pros: amazing tropical retreat right by the ocean more

I love this place. Its down the street from my house which makes it convenient. Beyond that the staff is very warm and welcoming. I truly have experienced one of the best massages i have ever had. Pros: Great Staff Cons: Little traffic noise but not bad. more

I have been going to Bergamot for about a year and have referred many friends and family who just need to wind down a little. The menu of services is extensive and the Spa Team is the best. I would have to compare them to many world class spas that exist here in North San County. Do yourself a favor and book some time for yourself (and maybe a friend) to unwind a little and enjoy life before it passes you by! I received a couples massage w/ my boyfriend at Bergamot. The massage took place in a hut in a garden setting which was close to a parking lot. During my massage I heard constant yelling and screaming of kids playing out side of the room and a very loud motorcycle pulling in the parking lot. The ambiance was very poor, which is something that is very important to me when I get a massage. My boyfriend loved his Masseuse but I was impressed with mine. It was by far the least satisfying massage I've ever received. more

Wow, what a beautiful environment. I felt as if i was somewhere else, not a mile from my home. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The treatments were longer than most. What a pleasurable experience. I will definately be back with friends. more
