Berenice Denton Estate Sales & Appraisals

My mother's estate sale was a success! Bernice and her team are honest, impressively patient, dedicated and smart. The company has an amazing following and connections with appraisers, designers, decorators, etc. They balanced the family dynamics and did an amazing job making a very difficult time actually fun! I highly recommend!!!!! more

To Lora and Steph - I'm not here to debate you or put you all down. This was MY experience. You do not know all the correct facts, or leading information or personally were in my shoes. I would expect you Lora to defend your employer, and Steph I have pictures of the damage done from removing the leather chair (and I found the metal door plate hidden under the floor deodorizer also)... which I told her previously was not to be sold despite what she told you. I lost enough money with her basically giving things away. MY STUFF MY RULES. She told me also, if I wanted to exclude something to please do so. I did, and she defied my requests. This goes on and on, this was MY review, and MY experience. Thank you. more

In response to Nash V: I work at the estate sales with Mrs Denton, and she is most definatly not a thief. This particular client of ours was rude to all our workers, and was never happy with anything we did. We actully did show up on time to set up the sale, but the client was still in bed, and asked us to leave. Another time one of our workers was lost and did arrive 5 minutes late, but was then asked to leave because the client did not approve of the car she was driving. We do not record every single little item that sells, but in fact might write ""misc. kitchen items"", or ""misc books"". This is the gray area she is talking about and does not qualify our company as thieves. We do all different kinds of sales from garage to fine antiques. We do the best that we can with the room we are given to work with. Mrs. Denton worked this sale by herself so she was in fact collecting money. Thats all I can say about that, as I do not understand why collecting money was an issue. You did hire us to sell your items. We do offer a complete clean up for a fee, but since that was not discussed, we only collected our tables. The rest of the items left would be up to the client as to what they would wany to do with them. We are sorry that you were unhappy with our services, but it appears you would not have been satisfied with any help offered to you. more

Berenice Denton and her staff did a fantastic job for my family. They put in so much time and took such care to price items accurately. They treated our family belongings with respect and were very fun to work with. I can honestly say that Berenice will go to the ends of the earth to help the families she works with and genuinely cares about each and every client. I highly recommend her company! more

Berenice is nothing but kind and respectful to her clients and customers. In response to the defamatory comment written by Nash V; I was at your sale--my husband and I were treated so courteously by Berenice and were looking forward to adding some new furniture pieces to our new home. We were excited partly because of the beauty of the furniture and because of Berenice's enthusiasm for your sale. You, however, required her to call you before she sold anything and then wouldn't listen to her as she was simply explaining that she was intending to sell to us for the full price that you had contracted with her. We could hear you yelling at her through the phone. We left empty-handed, feeling worried for Berenice because of your erratic behavior. Berenice has since followed up with us twice to ensure that we were okay and to invite us to future sales with furniture matching our specifications. Great customer service and regard for her customers in my estimation. more

What an incredible store filled with treasures like candles, baby gifts, home decor and everything in between. Can't wait to go back again and again! more

This is supposed to be an estate sale?? I went to the address, entered the building in the picture. However ""The Cottage"" is an overpriced antique store. more

Really.... I went you two of your estate sales this weekend... The one at Thompson Station was aweful. The staff really needs to, at least, act happy. And the ""SALE OF THE CENTURY"" at Lyzon..HA!!! What A JOKE!!! Everyting is so overpriced that you would have to be CRAZY to buy ANYTHING more

I recently attended a Berenice Denton Estate Sale in Clarksville. The house was full and her capable employees were fast, efficient & knowledgeable.
