I've been to Bensi a couple of times now because all my friends really enjoy it. I wasn't overly impressed. The food is decent but definitely not the best around. It is usually extremely crowded on a weekend evening and you stand in a very small bar area waiting to be seated. The prices are a little high for the quality of food. And the service was not great at all. It's not a place I would go to on a regular basis. more

Many items on the menu, and they are all good! 4/15/2006

I have been here quite a few times, and really like the food. I have tried different things on the menu, and always end up liking my meal. It is a small restaurant, but has many tables, so we have never had a wait. I really liked the penne ala vodka, and am looking forward to my next visit. The service here was very good. more

Charged my card $10 more. 2/16/2006

The service was very slow and food was "OK" not great. For two person meal my bill was $70, and we left close to $15 tip. To my surprise they charged my card $25 tip! more

Terrible service 10/9/2005

This particular Bensi was terrible. I went with several friends and we sat for 20 minutes before anyone actually took our order. When we asked the manager if we could get a waiter, he did absolutely nothing to get us help. When we finally got a waiter, the waiter didn't speak good english and we had a difficult time communicating our order. The food was eventually served and wasn' t bad (except mine, which had bacon in it and all the bacon was completely just fatty pieces, no meat). I like other Bensi's, but this one was a terrible experience and I would never go back. more

Really Good Italian Food 7/14/2005

I ate at Bensi this evening for the first time, and thoroughly enjoyed it. They have everything from personal pizzas to pasta and seafood, among other entrees. I highly recommend eating at Bensi. It is a chain, so there are many around. You must try it. You won't be disappointed. Their menu has so much that no one will be looking fo something italian that is not on it. more
