Ben's would like to respond to the customer above. Ben's never said that the washer would last thirty years. The average washer last nationally about 10-12 years. Yes , the washer did come damage. The customer did except the small dent on the washer & we did give them a Corian cutting board , a value of $65.00. If the customer did not want the dented washer ,Ben's would of ordered another one for them.\r
The customer's center bearing went bad. It was out of warranty. Ben's called up the manufacture & got the parts at no charge. This is one of many things we do for our customer. If the customer had to pay for the parts they would of had to pay about $300.00 more. \r
The parts was on backorder. BEN'S HAS NO CONTROL WHEN THE PARTS COME IN. When the parts arrive at our store we installed them within 48 hours. Yes , we did give the customer a loaner washer to use in the mean time, another benefit of buying from Ben's. We did not intent to EVER LEAVE THE WASHER IN THE RAIN. \r
We have been in business for 54 years, taking care of our customers. Ben's performs over 2,000 service call a year. We take care of & satisfy 95% of them. Yes, that is still not good enough. We are working harder to be a 100%\r
In conclusion , as you see from above on this site & others , we do get about one or two bad reviews out of 2,000 a year. STILL TOO MANY!! We are here to service the community and to make life easier for everyone. \r
