We hired Ben and Mandy to be the photographer and officiant for our wedding in April (2011). It was one of the best decisions we made with our wedding!! First the photography....Ben and Mandy worked as a team to capture all of the moments of the wedding. Not only did we ask them to drive 2 hours to get to the top of a mountain, but they were on time, stood in the snow and dealt with the cold, and couldn't have been more accomodating to our requests. They are very easy to work with and I was confident that we were ""on the same page"" regarding the photos we wanted when the day was over. They were also very organized and professional while working with our family and friends. Ben and Mandy do an excellent job of working together to be creative and collaborative to capture the emotion and ambiance of the special moments. Our pictures turned out amazing! About Mandy....She was our officiant for the wedding. Even though we only met a couple of times prior to the wedding, we felt very confident in her ability to perform the ceremony. Our personalities clicked right from the start and she worked with us to create a customized ceremony that was exactly what we wanted. She held her composure when we didn't (we laughed and cried throughout the ceremony). She did a wonderful job and we couldn't have asked for anything better!! We highly recommend this team for your wedding! They are exceptional. more

Do not settle for less on your wedding day. Ben and his assistant, Mandy, will make sure your day goes smoothly and capture beautiful photos of everything. We had a torrential downpour during our ourdoor ceremony and a fussy ringbearer, but Ben and Mandy handled it all with incredible grace. I highly recommend the package with two photographers, we had photos at two places at one time and caught all of the activity at the reception. Ben and Mandy are there to make sure you get exactly what you want and have lots of great ideas to make your wedding photos exactly what you want them to be. We hired Benjamin Boyd Photography for our wedding in the summer of 2005, and were very happy with the level of professionality, communication, and attentiveness to our needs. We had a lot of specific portraits that we wanted to have done, and Ben was proactive to make sure the details of these, as well as the timeline were all worked out in advance. Pros: Great eye for artful shots, a knack for outdoor photography & high quality indoor shots. Had the choice of digital/film. Cons: No Complaints, but if you want a lot of different portraits like we did, don't try rushing it. Send them your requirements for an estimate of the time needed. more
