I was suffering from chronic back and neck pain for 6 months before I found Beneveda. Diagnosed with a compressed disc in my spine from 25+ years of playing the violin, I underwent 6 sessions of laser therapy, vibrational energy healing, adjustments and more with INCREDIBLE results! I was in bad pain from my spine, translating into leg pain. The Doctors at Beneveda, together with their magnetic devices and vibrating devices lessened that pain in one session.\r In continuing my therapy there, I hope to write the next review indicating no pain at all! more

I learned about this place through Tippr, it sounded pretty intriguing. They have medical doctors and state of the art equipment yet they embrace alternative therapies and the eastern approach to health and well being. The best of both world! On my first visit I didn't quite know what to expect but Susan and Kellie made me feel at ease and welcomed. I got the Unwind & Detox package, and that's exactly what it did. As soon as I layed on the BioMat I felt all stress go away. After about 45 min of detoxing on the mat I was taken to the Energy Enhancement Therapy room to be flooded in an energy field of scalar waves for about an hour. Take the brown leather chair if you can, it's the most comfortable seat :). I left completely relaxed, and with the good feeling that my body was releasing a bunch of unneeded toxins. I was told to drink plenty of water to help the process (which is always good advice anyhow). All and all, a pretty good experience, I will be back... more

This was my first experience at this office and it was such a positive one. I received a great deal from Buy With Me. This was the first time I've ever seen a Buy With Me deal for an office such as this, so I was so excited to jump on it. The office was warm and welcoming. I loved that they had a video playing on mute of some of the services they offer, since I was pretty clueless, and that they were playing relaxing meditative music in the background. Sarah greeted me warmly and energetically as she got me settled into a room. I got to lay on the BioMat for awhile then had a lengthy session with Dr. Lazar. He was friendly, funny, and incredibly informative. As a health coach it was really important to me to be heard and to have my questions answered fully and to learn exactly what a chiropractor does. I came in with a migraine (which I suffer from at least weekly) and haven't had one since then. I didn't see any other practitioners on this visit but Dr. Lazar told me that there are other amazing practitioners in the office, also. I'm definitely interested in going back and getting another amazing, helpful treatment! more

I have for a long time now been intrigued by energy medicine, so when I saw the Groupon offer to the Beneveda Medical Group for a total healing chiropractic package I immediately scooped it up. Even though I had a discounted Groupon coupon, I was able to make an appointment promptly with Dr. Har Hari S. Khalsa (Chropractor) for the following week. I was having some lower back pain. Upon arrival I waited for a few short minutes in the comfortable waiting room where soothing music in the background relaxed my weary mind before I was whisked away by Kelly for a session on 2 separate machines that used some new advanced technology using frequencies that vibrated my entire body from the top of my head to the tips of my toes and I wished at that moment that my body parts were firmer because I was sure feeling the parts that weren't. Regardless my brief remorse for not frequenting the gym more often, I felt really wonderful during and after those sessions...sorry I do not recall the names of those machines...please call the Beneveda Medical Group for further details if you would like details about those machines. Then a man with a long white beard appeared - Dr. Khalsa - who whisked me off to a room where he gave me a small hand held device that works with therapeutic scalar waves, explained how to use it and explained that he will be with me shortly. I lay down on a table with a progressively warming ultra modern heating pad underneath me, while this device (do not recall the name either) with flashing purple lights worked on various parts of my body. I cannot explain what exactly this device does, but all I know is that my mind, body and soul felt at one with all and peaceful and melting...melting....deeper... Just as I was ready to slip off to sleep...I was SO very relaxed at this point and was not there even a full 1/2 hour yet, Dr. Khalsa peered into the room and invited me to join him in the room next door; I followed him. Dr, Khalsa was kind, caring, compassionate, down to earth, a great listener and unlike any other chiropractor I have ever been to in my entire life! We talked for awhile about the issues I came to see him for and then - he appeared genuinely interested in listening to what I had to say - he did some adjustments. WOW WOW WOW!!!! Need I say more? My pain seemed to vanish almost instantly. And...Dr. Khalsa did not try to sell me any products like almost all the other chiropractors I've been to visit in my lifetime always have done so in the past! That evening I went to a yoga class and the following morning I woke up 100% pain free for the 1st time in 2 weeks feeling incredibly peaceful and balanced! Incredible! Thus far Dr. Khalsa and his healing touch is a well kept secret in LA...but not for long. Dr. Khalsa is not only ABSOLUTELY THE BEST CHIROPRACTOR I've EVER been to, he is also a caring, kind, considerate healer who genuinely wants to help people. When I got treatment, they have various equipments. One of them is iPhone device. I did not know iPhone helps practitioners as well. They told me it is Qpalm Acupuncture and it works great on i-Device. The session was great and I like up to date practitioners. more

I got a Stree Relief package, which includes a detoxifying & energizing BioMat treatment, Energy Enhancement Therapy with therapeutic scalar waves, chiropractic consultation & hands on session, Audiovisual Entrainment with sounds & light purlse energy treatment, and TurboSonic Vibrational Therapy to stimulate cellular circulation and increase blood flow. \r \r My session lasted 2.5 hours. I went into Beneveda stressed, frazzled and came out rejunvenated, energized. Everyone who treated me or greeted me are friendly, warm, & professionanl. Even though I've never done any alternative treatment like these before, they put my at ease and answered my questions patiently. Since two auto accidents and surgery, I have been trying many modalities to address the pain that still exists in my neck and lower back. I was an active person before and have been determined to get that lifestyle back, trying all kinds of treatment incl. physical therapy, acupuncture, deep thai massage. After visiting Beneveda and working with Kelly and Suzanne, I feel hopeful the facility, along with their expertise, will be able to help me. After one pain relief package, I felt so much relief. I also felt Kelly gave me insights which helped me address other reasons my pain had not lifted. I purchased a package of services and did not know what to expect. All I can say is WOW. 21st century approach to health, wellness, and energy. My package did not include chiropractic, however, when I told them I had a stiff neck they let me see the chiropractor Dr. Harhari. This guy was so good, that I bought a package of 10 visits. One last thing, I have planters faciatis in my left foot, and for no additional charge they added a treatment for my foot and it feels much better after only one treatment. This place is a hidden gem! more
