Ben White Pet Hospital

Dr. Grimm is such an outstanding veterinarian that my experiences with her inspired me to write my first Citysearch review. She has expertly handled illnesses with our cats with compassion, kindness and great skill. She goes out of her way to make herself available for whatever the pet needs. The other veterinarians at Great Oaks are also terrific - I met them too when our cat was hospitalized and we were encouraged to come visit him whenever we wanted to. One of our cats is very touchy and growly and claws people when he is examined, and Dr. Grimm did the best and gentlest exam of him that I have ever seen. He made a full recovery from a serious illness. Our daughter lives by UT, quite far from Great Oaks, but she still brings her cat to see Dr. Grimm. He also had a serious illness and was hospitalized but made a full recovery. The vets did not even mind that 3 of us came at 3 different times in one day to visit him while he was hospitalized. All of the staff were also polite and kind and helpful. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Grimm and Great Oaks Animal Hospital. Dr. Kelli is not at Ben White Pet Hospital any longer, she is now up in Round Rock at Great Oaks Animal Hospital, but I drive the 25 miles that it takes to get there because she is the best vet that I have been to in Austin. Her staff is super and the hospital is clean and welcoming. Dr. Kelli is extremely thorough and gentle with my cats. She obviously loves her job and cares about her patients. She has seen us through some difficult and frustrating situations with compassion, calm and intelligence. She is an excellent listener and consistently goes above and beyond. Pros: clean, progressive hospital, very caring and competent veterinarian Cons: a little expensive but worth it and no worse than other places more
