I have long been a Ben and Jerry's fan, and could not have been more pleased to have them open here. The ice cream is the perfect consistency, creamy and smooth. They have tons of flavors, and you can also get coffee drinks, milk shakes and more. The interior is somewhat small but quaint and cozy. My first choice for ice cream in Holland. more

Great Ice Cream 4/12/2006

This funky little ice cream shop offers the real deal, Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. It’s a quaint little shop that seats maybe dozen people. If you come with kids beware there is a play area in the rear of building that you would never see if you came through the front. They are located right downtown Holland. more

    It's not just about the ice cream. Ben and Jerry, two childhood friends from Vermont, built their empire on a great product laced with social awareness. Sit in this scoop shop, grab an unbleached napkin and gaze at the murals depicting hormone-free cows munching in green, organic pastures. While you're there, pick up literature supporting some local environmental causes.

    The Food
    What a difference pure, delicious ingredients can make. Favors include Chunky Monkey, Phish Food, Cherry Garcia and New York Super Fudge Chunk, just to name a few. Decadent sundaes swim in real hot fudge topped with fresh, homemade whipped cream. Cookies, brownies and waffle cones are lovingly baked each day in-house. For the light-at-heart, there are sorbet splashes--refreshing, fat-free fruit slushies.
