End of Life Care 9/15/2014

Unfortunately our golden retriever was found to have metastatic cancer last spring and the care and compassion shown to our entire family from all at Belvoir Pet Hospital, including our beloved Maggie, was exceptional! Dr. Joe spent a lot of time with us, and involved our entire family in every decision along the way. I don't think we would ever take our dog anywhere else! more

Family of doctors gives pets special care 8/17/2005

This animal hospital has been run by the same family of doctors for two generations. The “family business” aspect of it combined with the veternarians’ obvious love for their furry customers makes it a really comforting place for both the pets and their owners. Since it’s a hospital, any medical need your pet might have can be taken care of right at the hospital rather than at a strange place. They do a good job of comforting skittish dogs and keeping them calm and still enough to receive shots safely. more

  • Belvoir Pet Hospital Veterinarian in South Euclid, OH | Belvoir Pet HospitalBelvoir Pet Hospital was built as a veterinary clinic in 1938 by Dr. David Elsasser. He and his family lived on the second floor of the hospital and raised their three daughters there. Marty and Joe Farkas purchased Belvoir Pet Hospital in the late 1960’s, and their son, Butch, joined them in practice in 1998. Marty passed away in 2004, and Joe continued practicing with Butch until his retirement in 2010. We are proud to be an independently owned and operated veterinary practice.
