Belt Sushi & Roll

Incredibly rude staff and mediocre food at best. First we arrive at 1:30pm on a weekday and are told to wait. A party of 6 just left and the woman spent literally 9 minutes cleaning their places where they sat at the bar (stool area) while we stood there waiting. After she finishes, she comes over and we ask for one of the 5 booths they have. 3 of which are empty. She tells us sorry those are for 3 or more people only. I look at her and say excuse me but the two booths in use currently each have two people in the booth! She says no no booths are for 3 or more only. I say again but there are two people in both of those booths... she then says well we let them sit there because when they came in there was no clean place at the bar. So I said ... well you made us wait almost 10 minutes while you cleaned up those spots why didn't we get offered a booth? She says sorry sorry 3 or more only. So I looked at her and the owner and said - So you are really going to let me walk out this door rather than let us sit at a booth during off hours on a weekday? She says - Sorry. Didn't eat there this day but have eaten there in the past and the food is not ""bad"" but it's mediocre at best, it just happened to be convenient because we were shopping. Would not suggest this restaurant to ANYONE. They don't deserve your money. more

Very bad service,I remember one time I asked for some salmon but the chef gave me albacore thinking I wouldn't know the differnece. The food is not that good either. Its always cold. more

I've been to a number of sushi joints in the western washington and this became my favorite the first time I went. The price was excellent, there was a great variety of sushi to choose from and some unique dishes that you wont find in most other places. The service was also great. I only wish there was more of these around. Pros: The food! Cons: What cons? more
