Value vs. Price 6/15/2009

I haven't shopped around that much, but it doesn't surprise me when people report that Bell's prices are higher than other places. If you want personal attention and genuine help, you're going to have to pay a little extra for it. If you know exactly what you want and just want to make a purchase, there are probably better stores for you. Pros: Extremely helpful. Intimate setting. more

Great, friendly shop 10/16/2008

I'm new to cigar smoking and when I stopped by Bell's I was a bit apprehensive. I felt at ease the moment I stepped into the shop. John Bell asked if I needed help soon as he was done with his other customers. He took the time to find out I was looking for as far as price, size and personal tastes. It would be easy to take advantage of someone who doesn't know much, but I felt like he was trying to make me feel comfortable rather than making a quick sale. Pros: Excellent service and selection. Very friendly. Not pushy. Near I-71 Cons: Not as cheap as other stores. more

WAY over priced 10/7/2008

This guy's prices are sky high.. for example he charges over $40 a pound for pipe tobacco, you can get a pound at Tinder Box for $29. Cigars, even worse, his prices are nearly double what you would pay in Kentucky (or Fairfield for that matter) . His products are fine, his prices are not. I'm a long time pipe and cigar smoker, I know a bad deal when I see one. Pros: Good selection of tobacco products Cons: Too pricey. Go to Kentucky or Jungle Jims more
