I've taken cars, trucks, horse trailers, campers and horse carriages to Bell's for about fifteen years. They always treat me fairly and do the best they can to correct whatever problem I send them. I can usually get an appointment pretty quickly and can get my vehicle back in a timely manner. It's nice to have an auto repair shop where I am known and where I feel like I will be treated fairly. more

Always treated honestly there 3/12/2014

So far, I have only had to Bell's for 3 state inspections. Twice I needed minor repairs. The technicians brought me in to show the actual issue, and offered fair and reasonable repairs. I usually do most of my own repairs, oil changes and brake jobs etc, but it is great to know an honest garage is just down the road! more

Good Service, Bad Diognostic Charge Policy 1/3/2014

I continue to appreciate Bell's service but am disappointed again with the standard diagnostic charge, which seems to be higher that I recall. A better and more fair policy would be to charge the book rate for the repair (which includes getting to the problem) and only charge a diagnostic fee if the person declines the repair or the cost of the repairs is less than the actual labor involved in diagnosis. A one size fits all diagnosis fee on top of paying the full price of repairs bears little relationship to the actual labor involved and seems like unfair double dipping. Reading the check engine code, putting in three quarts of oil and test driving shouldn't cost me about $100. Especially when you see how often Bell's has tried to address why my car is leaking oil so much between regular oil changes. more

I am super pleased with the repair to my right turn signal and Winter selection for the transmission It is great to have an auto repair shop that using wiring diagrams before just replacing parts hoping that the issue goes away. Thanks for a job well done that resulted in a fix at a reasonable price. more
