Only less than 3 months after the passing of my grandmother, my beloved grandfather passed away from a short battle with esophageal cancer. And once again, I found myself at Evergreen Mortuary. But this time around, I was the one who had to initiate the funeral arrangements. Never have I ever imagined that I'd be planning a funeral at such a young age, but my parents were out of the country, so that left me to do the translating for my uncles who are less than proficient at English. But luckily, there was Mr. Lee, who spoke Cantonese and helped us with the procedures.
