Nice old school family run business in Oakland. Easy to deal with. Great work done quick. A driver with no insurance wrecked into my 2005 chevy equinox on St Pats Day in the southside. I had my car towed to Bellisario's after a minor accident which rendered my car undriveable. I was told it would take three weeks to get my car back--they had it done in a little over two. Great service, great communication, nice people. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again, and I highly recommend them to anyone who has the misfortune of needing collision repair! more

I needed my windshield replaced on a Mini Cooper, and some dents taken out of the passenger's side door. The Mini dealer quoted me a price that seemed outrageous, so I did a little internet research and found Bellisario's. I am SO glad I did! The price was fair (HALF of what Mini quoted), everything was explained up front, and the car looks FLAWLESS. I was nervous to take it anywhere other than the dealer, but now I have more faith (love the power of the internet). Some reviewers complained about the customer service ... to that, I say: Joe B. is a straight up working man. He is as direct as they come. Sure, he could hire a smiley receptionist, but that cost would be passed on to the consumer. Ultimately, it is that car, and the cost, that I am living with -- and both were excellent! more

The older I get, the more I appreciate any business that delivers what it promises and this business does just that. Joe and his staff have done all the mechanical and body work for my cars for several years and I have complete trust in them. Not only is the work outstanding, the staff's ""can do, will do"" attitude is refreshing and is always punctuated by the work being finished as promsed. You can verify their professional competence by taking a look at the range of automobiles in the shop. They will work just as hard on a beater as they will on a Rolls Royce ragtop (there was one there the last time I was there). You use them, you will be pleased. more

Plaster fell on my Saturn Outlook in an indoor parking garage at work, it dented the hood and scored the front bumper. I got an estimate in less than 3 minutes, Joe told me it would be in the shop for 3 business days. I put it in the shop this Tuesday, it was done today. Joe said it would be done at 4:30 and it was. They even washed it, great service!!! If you want really good body work, go see Joe at Bellisario's. You will be very happy, I am. more

I had my Ford Fiesta just shy of 3 months and was devastated when I scraped the rear passenger door. Took my car to Bellisario's based mainly on all the positive reviews; what a great decision. As a new resident of Pittsburgh, I had no idea where to take my 2009 Chevy Malibu LTZ for repairs after being rear-ended. I had no idea when given the recommendation for Ballasarios that my experience would become so rewarding. Joe recognized the care and affection I had for my car and his staff repaired it as if their own. They couldn't have been more professional with corresponding with me during the appraisal process and delivering the car, beautifully repaired on the precise date promised. They were also very helpful with providing me a ride, to and from work. I took my car back to point out a small flaw in the paint and without question, Joe promised to not only fix that spot but offered to wax and rebuff the car to remove a few ""swirls"" in the finish. I highly recommend this business. more

I scraped near the rear tire of the passenger side of my Honda CR-V -- the paint was all gone and the tire cover (plastic) was broken because of the dent. Bellisario's Auto Body fixed it within 3 days with very good price (under $1000) -- It was beautifully finished! Joe is very very nice and provided excellent service. My husband also took his car several times in the past to get it fixed (low priced and excellent finishings too). I highly recommend this place! Thanks Joe! :D more

As my review will clearly show, I know NOTHING about automobiles. So, when I damaged my car, I had no clue where to take it for repairs. This was the only place the tow truck driver recommended. While this is not the most glamorous garage, they did an excellent job. They had my car back quickly. They were incredibly patient and polite when dealing with me. They also had the repairs completed according to their original estimate (and within the same range that my “car friend” guessed.) I am very pleased and feel like I have found my garage for future issues. My only complaint was that there really wasn’t a way to drop my key off and even the tow truck driver recommended returning when they opened. more

I had an excellent experience with Bellisario's. I wanted top quality service and I trusted that they had the experience needed for repairing the composite materials used in a Corvette's fenders. Their repairs were flawless and I'd recommend them to anyone, especially if you have a vehicle that requires repair skills that most shops don't have. more

Joe has always done great work - and he has a great reputation. My car was a mess with stone chips, scrapes, and vandalism. The majority of the car had to be painted - and it looks like new. I wouldn't take a German import to anybody. I'd send any friend or family member to Joe. They know what they are doing and they stand behind their work. PLEASE READ FULL REVIEW: If you want your repairs done in the typical so-so manner at the typical so-so price, this is your place. Joe is good for this type of work. Gets the work done fast + will help with rentals (Enterprise). I suspect this suits 70% of car owners, and these folks will be satisfied with Bellisarios (see other reviews). BUT if you expect ""A"" quality work and are ""picky"", go elsewhere. RUN elsewhere. Joe will insult you ""if you dare"" point out paint impections, visible dimples/small waves in body panels that were replaced, panels not lining up right, or anything else that is not ""A1"" work. He is NOT a perfectionist, and he expects you to share this mentality. And that is my issue with Bellisarios. I expect a good/great body shop to identify/repair imperfections BEFORE delivering the car to the customer. Instead, Joe waits for you (the customer) to point it out when picking up the car then insults you when you demand A1 work. He would prefer you leave with ""C"" work and a big smile on your face, hoping you do not notice these quality issues. I am sure many do not. In the end after being offended and waiting around for quick fixes, you leave with ""C+"" work and a big headache feeling you have compromised. Therefore, if ""so-so"" is fine on your car - 3 stars. If you want top notch repairs that are not easily spotted by the naked eye, 1 star. I have been there twice hoping the first was just an abnormality, but no such luck. It was deja vu. Keep in mind I paid top dollar for both jobs, not wanting any corners cut to save a buck. Joe knew this, and he got full insurance estimates. I could have had this work done at any dealer or other body shop for the same cost. Live and learn... Never again... Pros: So-so work at so-so price. Quick. Cons: Will not be happy if expect A1 work. more

My daughter had an accident in Pittsburgh while at Pitt and we live in Philadelphia, we told her to get 3 estimates and found Bellasario's here on city search, Joe was the middle estimate but gave me by far the best feeling about his shop.
