Bellin's Emergency Department is a Level III facility and is staffed by experienced emergency medicine physicians and personnel trained in triage and care. It features 16 patient rooms and state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment equipment. All patients will be coded as “emergency” for billing purposes. Features of the 32,448 square-foot Emergency Services Pavilion include: Expanded KidCare Emergency Services, staffed by pediatricians 6-bed observation unit with private rooms Diagnostic suite that includes Wisconsin's only 320-slice CT scanner, the Aquilion One 64-slice CT services including Cardiac Calcium Scoring Enlarged ambulance bays offering easier access for emergency vehicles Family lounge and counseling area Centralized nurse's station Emergency medical services personnel lounge.
