Bellevue Laser & Cosmetic Center, Dr. Diane Chiu

I suffered from dark and deep circles under my eyes for years. I always noticed them more in my pictures. No matter how much make up or what kind I used, I couldn't really cover them. I saw Dr. Chiu and she explained to me how easy it is to fix them. She was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what I needed. In a 30-minutes appointment, she injected one syringe of Juvederm to the top of my cheeks and then one syringe of Belotero to my tear troughs using a special syringe called Cannula. Using a Cannula allowed her to inject the Belotero into all areas of my tear troughs. I was so impressed and surprised how easy, fast, and painless the whole procedure was (I didn't feel any pain because of the numbing cream). I also didn't experience any bruising or downtime after the procedure. Thanks to Dr. Chiu, and her wonderful staff, I said goodbye to this big concern of mine. more

I got many laser hair removal treatments on my face at different clinics in my lifetime but I'd never had such a great experience when I saw Nicki Vaseghi at Bellevue Laser and Cosmetic Center. Nicki was incredibly warm and friendly! She was really patient with me during the treatment, as I don't deal well with pain at all! The whole treatment was done in no longer than 15 minutes and the result was AMAZING! I'm not going to see anyone else but Nicki for laser treatment from now on! more

Dr. Diane Chiu is excellent. She is truly an artist! She did filler for my under eye area and around my mouth. It looks very natural and I am thrilled with the results. She really listened to my questions and took time to answer them all before she did the procedure. Her office is beautiful and her staff is very professional. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is interested in doing any sort of facial cosmetic treatment. more

Dr. Chiu and her staff are great. The one on one time with Dr. Chiu are always good, she answers all my concerns and questions I have, takes the time to explain things so I understand them, it's probably why her her office is always busy. Overall she has great knowledge to be shared and her staff are great. more

I saw Dr. Chiu for a few large freckles that I wanted removed. Her front desk and staff are friendly and warm. She answered all of my questions, even ones that were unrelated to what I was seeing her for. She is extremely knowledgable about asian skin and the problems that we tend to have with hyper-pigmentation. She gives you the best options and educates you and will always go for what's best for your skin. She also doesn't push for the most expensive option, which I find a lot of offices do. I have since recommended Bellevue Laser & Cosmetic Center to everyone I know. I sent a friend's dad there for a severe eczema problem that his dermatologist couldn't fix for years. She fixed it and now he can bend his fingers again. His daughter visiting from Hong Kong needed freckles/moles removed, and she said, ""It's worth the price of a plane ticket to go see her!"". Dr. Chiu is truly the best. more

Do not waste your hard earned money and valueable time here. I went there for treatment of acne, but when I asked about my face was getting worse, the answer Dr Chiu gave me (twice) was ""I dont know whats going on with your face"". Had I not explored about the side effetcs of the medicines myself, I would have never known and would have ruined my face forever. Dr Chiu never told me about the side effects. I had to stop the treatment and within a week everything started getting normal. I would not go back to her or reccomend anybody go there. Its a wastage of time and money. more

Simply put, Dr. Diane Chiu and the entire staff at Bellevue Laser Cosmetic Center set the standard by which other medical teams and offices should aspire. Not only is Dr. Chiu an extremely knowledgable and gifted dermatologist, she is also a very caring person as well. Nicki Vaseghi, LME, is an outstanding asset to her medical team as are her medical assistants and the entire office staff. They truly set the bar for professionalism in a medical office. more

I recently saw Dr. Chiu for my first full skin exam. I have very ""moley"" skin and have had quite a few weird looking moles come up lately and thought I should have them looked at. I was very nervous going into the appointment because I had never been to a dermatologist before and I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Her staff was very kind and seemed very happy to see me as a new patient. Dr. Chiu was very thurough with her exam and made sure to note every mole that looked suspicious or strange to her. She decided to remove two of my moles and the procedure was virtually painless! A week after my appointment a medical assistant called me to let me know the biopsy results. Both of my moles were cancer free but I was told that they were abnormal and were probably going to grow into something bad had I not had them removed. What a relief! The scars are healing beautifully! I would recommend Bellevue Laser & Cosmetic Center to anybody! more

I went to see Dr. Chiu a year or so ago, because I had the skin disease Lichen Planus, she knows her stuff, she is a very lovely Asian woman, and she came in and took one look at my purple spots on my legs and she knew what it was, then it went to my mouth and gums. She left her practice at the Meridian practice, and left to have a baby. I went to see another dermatologist, who I will not name, but was worthless, to say the least, I went to check a few months later, to see if Dr. Chiu had resumed her practice and I was pleased to find her in Bellevue, quite a drive for me, but worth it for a good doctor, she is very competent, friendly, and a damn good dermatologist, I would NEVER go to anyone else. more

Dr. Diane Chiu and Nicki Vaseghi are PHENOMENAL!!!!! Nicki took her time to go over the different lasers and helped cater a specific treatment that would address my acne scars. This has plagued me my whole life while making me feel self-concious. You can tell from Nicki that she loves her job and that she really cares about her patients. She thoroughly went over post precedure care along with helping me chose the best skin care from their selection. Everything from the polite and friendly greeting from the desk staff to the kind smiles and assistance from the nurses to Nicki. Dr. Chiu definately has a keen eye for what it takes for a great team. They treated me as if I was family. This was a pleasant surprise. I was looking at some photos my daughter posted on Facebook and it struck my how wonderful her skin is looking. I would not have been able to say this just 2 months ago. \r \r She had been under the care of another dermatologist for months, but we weren't seeing any results. So, I asked some friends if anyone knew another dermatologist, Dr. Diane Chiu's name came up. \r \r I made an appointment for my daughter and it has been the best move we have ever made. Not only has Dr. Chiu found a regime of medications that are working for my daughter she has also introduced us to Nicki Vaseghi, their in house licensed aesthetician. At our first visit you could tell Nicki has a passion for skin treatment and care. Nicki has done 3 medical facials and most recently done 2 laser treatments on my daughter's face. It is amazing the improvement my daughter has seen form these treatments. Nicki is so personable and has developed a fabulous rapport with my teenage daughter. When Nicki found out that the meds. were upsetting my daughter's stomach, Nicki suggestioned how to take them that might be more tolerable. Her suggestions worked and now my daughter can take the meds with no side effects. At each visit Nicki dreams up another protacole to clear up my daughter's acne, and everytime we've seen improvements.\r \r If we've seen this much transformation in 2 months, I can't wait to see what's next to come. I wish we would have come here first. My daughter could have been posting beautful pictures of herself alot sooner and wouldn't have had to go through over a year of the embarrassment of extreme acne. \r \r Oh, the little brother loves the Belevue Laser, and Cosmetic Center too. He says they have the best cartoons and snacks, and actually looks forward to our visits to Nicki's. Thanks for having a family friendly envirnment and team. I had visited her after looking at the reviews for getting my skin examined for a possible sun burn. She kept us waiting for 30 mins after her assistaant had taken all the details from us.She did not like that I had gone to her receptioonist while waiting asking why Doctor was so late and raected very angerly. She gave a very harsh and rude treatment and I was shocked by her behaviour.. This visit left a very bad taste in my memories and this is my first bads experience with a Doctor. I woudl NEVER go her again in my life. more

Dr. Chiu has been my dermatologist for about 5 years now. I really appreciate her no-nonsense, direct communication, and the friendly efficiency of her dedicated team! She's helped me with everything from removing suspicious moles for cancer screening, to the right Rx for Eczema & the right ""filler"" for my under-eye hollows. \r \r It seems to me that it's important to trust your face to a professional M.D. who has dedicated their entire career to skincare (You only get one face in this life!) and so many years of knowledge with cosmetic procedures. So, when the circles under my eyes became unbearable, it was only natural to see Dr. Chiu for a solution. During the consultation, she responded to my questions and also made additional suggestions about Restylane/Perlane/fillers etc. During my treatment she was super focused, and afterward I had zero bruising. \r \r 2 months later I'm still enjoying the result. I also like her approach of scheduling a followup/touch-up visit a week or 2 afterwards. The location at Bellevue Laser & Cosmetic Center has easy parking and a nice office with tasteful decor. Truly one-stop shopping for healthy skin and non-surgical cosmetic enhancement! more

Dr Chiu is amazing! and her staff is wonderful too! It is obvious that her staff love their 8-5 lives with Dr Chiu and that she appreciates and respects her staff as well! After seeing Dr Chiu initially for Skin Cancer checks (when she found a skin cancer that other MD's hadn't found before) I decided to give botox and fillers a try. What a huge difference that made, and the experience was relatively painless as well. I look like a feel more rested and look a few years younger. Since that went so well, I thought I would try lip enhancement--and Dr Chiu is the Queen of Lips! My lips look smoother, younger and a little fuller, lip gloss looks so much better now! I just can't recommend Dr Chiu enough! and her Nurse Stephanie is so educated and sweet too! Next time I am going to see Nicki, the esthetician because i have heard nothing but wonderful things about her as well. Also, the location is easy to get to, right off the freeway, and parking is a breeze! more

Dr. Chiu and her staff are absolutely amazing. I'm so used to waiting all day at a doctor's office only to see the doctor for 5 minutes. Not only did my appointment start on time, but nothing felt rushed or hurried. I was priority from start to finish. Dr. Chiu took her time to make sure all of my questions were answered and all of my concerns were laid to rest. I have fair skin with a history of skin cancer in my family so I definitely had a lot of questions. \r The office has a very friendly and energetic atmosphere. I wouldn't go anywhere else.\r \r more

I used to love Dr. Chiu - she really is a great doctor and she is definitely very smart. But the past four times I have been to her office, I have had to wait over 30 minutes past my appointment time for her to see me - she is ALWAYS late. When she has finally come to my room, she has rushed through my appointment and I get about 2 minutes to spend with her. \r \r I come in for skin checks since there is a history of skin cancer in my family, and I don't feel like she is doing an adequate job of checking my skin like she used to because so little time is spent with me. If there was an issue, I think I would have to point it out.\r \r I have a few friends who also go to Dr. Chiu and they they have mentioned the same issues as I have above, and that it has gotten worse over the past year. It may be time to find a new doctor, which is a shame because I do trust her and think she is a great dermatologist. Maybe she shouldn't book so many appointments in a day to help stay on schedule. more

Nicki Vaseghi, esthetician at Bellevue Laser & Cosmetic Center, has now performed my 3rd treatment of laser hair removal. I have to be honest and say that I was terrified. I have darker skin and was concerned about pigmentation and then also the pain. The results have been incredible so far and I am so happy! Nicki is not only timely and efficient, but also extremely knowledgeable about skin care and products which make the sessions go by quickly and mostly painless! My skin has not been irritated with the treatments at all. I have also been to the office to see Dr. Chiu for skin care treatments. She listens well and takes the time to answer my questions thoroughly w/o making me feel rushed. Their very friendly office staff always accommodates my very busy schedule, often squeezing me in for last minute appointments! I highly recommend this dermatology office and their services. more

Dr. Chiu and Nicki Vaseghi came highly recommended by friends. Previously I had seen Dr. Chiu for botox, which seems to have lasted forever. Still even today I keep getting compliments about how natural it looks. This time I came in to see Nicki for an IPL laser treatment which helps me address some lingering dark spots. Nicki is just as breathe of fresh air. She addressed all my concerns while keeping my service upbeat and fun. I have to say that each time I come in the staff is ALWAYS so friendly, attentive and professional, even though I was super late. Since I was over 15 minutes late they gave me the option to either reschedule my appointment to another day or to wait and see if something opened up. Luckily there was a no show and I was able to get in. I did learn that Bellevue Laser and Cosmetic Center does have a cancellation/no show policy, that if you miss your appointment there is a $75 fee. This is fair since they confirm two days in advance. So don’t do what I did and be on time. This time I promise I will check in early. How many doctors offices do you know provide refreshments and let you watch the Bravo channel while you wait. Dr. Chiu’s office is a dream compared to my normal 45 minute wait time at Virginia Mason. Thank you Dr. Chiu , Nicki Vaseghi, and BLCC Staff for giving my family and I the best care. I have been to many ""top"" dermatologists office in Seattle, and this one is definitely THE BEST. Dr. Chiu is a genius. I go to her for juvaderm and botox, and her work is absolutely gorgeous and flawless. I just had my lips done for the first time today and she did such a beautiful job - very subtle and natural looking, but enough of a difference to make me feel more confident, and excited to go buy new lipstick! I also go to Dr.Chiu's aesthetician, Nikki, for IPL laser treatments for hyper pigmentation. They are the absolute best IPL treatments I have ever had. In addition, both she and her staff are unbelievably kind and helpful. I can not recommend Dr. Chiu enough. more
